Phil 1:11 Gal 5:22 Love, a facet of the Fruit of Righteousness which is the Fruit of the Spirit

In the context of our study of the mandate for believer's prayer in the PPOG. . Phil 4:6; 1Thes 5:17;

We are considering Paul's prayer for the spiritual growth of believers recorded in Phil 1:9-11;

We are presently considering verse 11 where Paul is praying for believers to be:

Phil 1:11; having been completely filled up with the production of righteousness [which is the total fulfillment of spiritual progress] which comes through Jesus Christ, for the glory and praise of God

or

Having been completely filled up with the production "fruit of righteousness" the 'Total Fulfillment of Spiritual Progress' - dikaiosune} The which comes through Jesus Christ for the glory and praise of God.

We are presently examining the phrase "fruit of righteousness" which is produced in the believer through TLJC.

We saw on Wednesday that this production being referred to in Phil 1:11; is the same production that is described in Gal 5:22 in more detail.

In the Phil 1:11; passage the production is viewed with regard to it's character as the “fruit of righteousness,” and in Gal 5:22, the same production is viewed with regard to it's source as the “fruit of the Spirit.”

We also saw the use of the passive voice in the syntax, where the believer is filled with this "production of righteousness" through or by means of TLJC.

This means that the believer's responsibility is simply to have humility which results in positive volition toward the PMA of Bible Doctrine and maintain the proper position or orientation in fellowship with TLJC inside the PPOG so that God the Holy Spirit can pour his production into the believer by means of Bible Doctrine (the thinking of TLJC). Phil 2:13; Eph 2:10;

Per John 15:5; the believer simply "abides in the vine" and as a result, automatically receives the production or fruit of the vine.

The branch (the believer) simply bears or carries what the vine (TLJC) has produced.

Unfortunately, because of the influence of the Kosmic system, and the influence and natural inclination of the "natural man" 1Cor 2:14; many believers are taught and believe that Christian character is a thing to be built by self-effort and self-discipline or some form of acetism or legalism or human works.

This false thinking results in the arrogance of dependence upon self and human works as the basis for acceptance with God and/or the production of the spiritual life.

God places a a curse upon the person who trusts in their own ability or performance, or that of other people. Jer 17:5;

The production of righteousness in the believer's life is not the fruit of the believer, or the fruit of the church, or the fruit of the ministry; it is the fruit of the Spirit. God the Holy Spirit is the source, the believer is the recipient of the production of God the Holy Spirit.

The nine facets of the fruit of the Spirit delineated in Gal 5;22-23; describe the character and thinking of TLJC.

This character is possible to be manifested in the believer because of the believer's vital union with Christ (John 15:5; 1Co 12:12-13), and is produced in those believers who have learned to rely on the indwelling power of God the Holy Spirit and Bible Doctrine (the mind of Christ).

As this character and thinking is manifested in the believer, the believer is re-presenting TLJC in the devil's world as a witness. Acts 1:8;

Some principles regarding this production of righteousness Phil 1:11; which is the production of the spirit that is described in: Gal 5:22-23,

Believer's need to know each of these nine words, and should understand the divine character as well as the desirability of all that they represent as the "Fruit of Righteousness"

As we have seen, the word for fruit, is the Greek word karpon which means production. It is in the singular, revealing the fact that God the Holy Spirit develops in believers a production or fruit with all nine of the described characteristics .

The phrase translated "of the Spirit" is the Greek " tou pneumatos" and refers to God the Holy Spirit. in a Greek syntax known as an "ablative of source", which describes God the Holy Spirit as the source of the production.

The Greek word "estin", is the present active indicative of (eimi), which means "to be" and translated as "is" indicates that the production keeps on being produced in a state of continuous linear action. (present tense >>> linear action)

The fruit of the Spirit "keeps on being"... Love,Joy,Peace...

The first facet of the fruit is described by the Greek word agape, which is translated love and which refers to impersonal and unconditional Love which is based on the integrity of the one who is loving.

Since the Holy Spirit in the "God breathed" word 2Tim 3:16, (note1) declares that agape is the greatest virtue of all (1Co 13:13), it is reasonable that it should be first on the list of facets of the fruit of the Spirit.

Agape is a relaxed mental attitude love. Relaxation is the first thing that occurs when believers are resting in the Lord and are abiding in Christ and learning His word.

This means that our mental attitude has been cleansed from mental attitude sins 1John 1:9; which limit our ability to concentrate and keep us from PMA of Bible doctrine under the mentor ministry of God the Holy Spirit.

Agape is a mental attitude love which manifests itself as thoughtfulness toward others, good manners, being relaxed around others, and avoiding the sins of the tongue.

In Rom 5:5 Paul describes this as love of God which is poured out in our thinking by means of the Holy Spirit.

God the Holy Spirit is pouring when believers are persistantly functioning in the PMA of Bible Doctrine. 1Cor 2:10-13; under the mentorship of God the Holy Spirit.

Faith comes by Hearing the word of Christ Rom 10:17; and Faith (Bible Doctrine) leads to Hope (Absolute confident expectation of Divine Good) Heb 11:1; which leads to Love (Personal Love for God and Impersonal love or all mankind) Rom 5:5;

1Cor 13:13; Faith >> Hope>> Love

Bible Doctrine resident in the believer's soul establishes the ability for the believer to concentrate, it establishes the integrity of Royal Family honor code in the believer , Bible Doctrine in the believer's soul is spirituality, and stability, all of which add up to genuine love.

Agape is unconditional, which means the believer relates to all people regardless of how attractive or unattractive they are to the believer with integrity.

Agape is virtue and therefore has capacity for true love in friendship, romance, marriage, and all other human interaction.

Believer's can know that God the Holy Spirit has produced this love in them when they can handle being the target of others' mental attitude sins without reaction.

The love that God the Holy Spirit produces in the believer's life is based entirely in the believer's spiritual integrity, which rests entirely upon the believer's consistent PMA of Bible Doctrine.

This is one of the great concepts of Christianity, though it is largely not understood.

It is the type of love that TLJC refered to in Matt 5:44; when he spoke to the Jews regarding the change in protocol for believers in the dispensentation of the millennium.

This love is available to church age believers who are in spiritual autonomy inside the PPOG for the church age as PSD #8. Rom 12:18-21;

Some principles regarding Agape love:

1) Agape love is that problem-solving device of the PPOG which is defined as unconditional impersonal love toward all mankind.

2) Being impersonal, agape love emphasizes the virtue of the subject rather than attraction to an object or rapport with an object.

3) Agape love toward all mankind is the ultimate expression of virtue. It is also the ultimate expression of humility. Without enforced and genuine humility, people are disoriented to life because of their arrogance.

4) Agape love for all mankind is therefore the ultimate expression of virtue, humility, and objectivity. It is the basis for being receptive to Bible Doctrine, which is the basis for growing in grace and knowledge and advance in the PPOG.

This standard of love which TLJC commands all believers to have is supernatural and totally divine in character. In John 13:34-35 ; 1John 3:14-18, ;

In verse 16, John indicates that God's integrity love for fallen mankind led to the sacrifice of TLJC on the cross. Then in verse 17, John indicates that a lack of integrity love is manifested in the believer who does not help other believers when they have the capacity to help.

Some Biblical expressions of true love are expressed in the following passages:

Integrity love does not gossip and malign and repeat things about others. Integrity love covers transgressions. Real love covers a multitude of sins; it does not repeat the failures of others. Prov 17:9, ; 1Pet 4:8,;

Integrity love operates with impersonal unconditional love in the same way that TLJC did. Eph 5:2;

Integrity love is manifested by guarding Bible Doctrine and not putting aside Bible Doctrine for the sake of maintaining association with people. John 14:21;

Integrity love must be according to knowledge of Bible Doctrine, and can only come from thinking Bible Doctrine, John 14:24;

We saw earlier in our study of Paul's prayer that Agape (Love,) epignosis (real knowledge) and aisthesis (dissernment) must coexist in conjunction for the believer to make the right decisions. Phil 1:9,

Integrity love has respect for other members of the Royal Family; it does not try to destroy the Royal Family for the purpose of benefiting ones self, 1Jo 4:20, 1John 5:2.;

God himself is the source and initiator of this love and it can only be developed in the believer from the mind of Christ (Bible Doctrine. )1John 4:19; Phil 2:5-8;

All of these principles are related to virtue love which is produced in the believer by God the Holy Spirit through the PMA of Bible Doctrine ( mind of TLJC) and is manifested in the believer as the "fruit of righteousness" to the glory and praise of God.

The fruit of Righteousness Phil 1:11; which is the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self control; against such things there is no law. Gal 5:22-23,
