Marriage and Family The 2nd and  3rd laws of divine establishment

In the context of our study of the mandate for believer's prayer in the PPOG. . Phil 4:6; 1Thes 5:17;

We are considering Paul's prayer for the spiritual growth of believers recorded in Phil 1:9-11;

In verse 11 Paul is praying for believers to be filled with the "fruit of righteouseness." which is the result of the believer's PMA of Bible Doctrine which is the mind of TLJC.

Phil 1:11; having been completely filled up ( perfect tense passive voice )with the production of righteousness [which is the total fulfillment of spiritual progress] which comes through Jesus Christ, for the glory and praise of God

We have seen that in the Phil 1:11; passage the production is viewed with regard to the quality of it's character as the “fruit of righteousness,” and in Gal 5:22, the same production is viewed with regard to it's source as the “fruit of the Spirit.”where details of it's characteristics are also described.

We have looked at the first (5) facets of this production of Righteousness which are Integrity Love (Agape) , The Happiness of God (Chara) , Inner Peace and Overt Prosperity (Eirene), Patience and longsuffering (makrothumia) and kindness, graciousness, generosity, and sensitivity to others (chrestotes).

We are presently studying the sixth characteristic of the fruit of righteousness which is the production of the Spirit in the believer who has the thinking of TLJC through metabolized Bible Doctrine as described by the Greek noun "agathosune", which is from the root "agathos" which means which means to be generous, virtuous and to produce divine good. Divine good has inherent or intrinsic value.

We have seen that Divine good is an absolute concept related to God and his perfection and that Human good is a relative concept related to mankind and imperfection. and that there are (3) categories of good in human history: Human Good, Morality or Establishment Good and Divine Good.

We are presently discussing Morality or Establishment good as a subset of Human Good and contrasting it with Divine Good in human history.

Morality or establishment good when performed by an unbeliever or believer who is outside of the PPOG is human good because it's impact is limited to time and is therefore temporary. That same morality or establishment good when performed by a believer who is functioning inside the PPOG under the mentorship of God the Holy Spirit through the application of Bible Doctrine is divine good because it's impact is eternal.

Last time we finished the study of volition as the first law of divine establishment where every person is given free volition and tested regarding their orientation to legitimate authority and we started a study of authority in marriage as the basic corporate relationship.

We saw that God has established the legitimate authority in marriage. Eph 5:33; Col 3:18-19;

The woman was created for the man, Gen 2:22-24; and although man is the authority, he is incomplete without his woman. The greatest form of human happiness for a woman is to be fulfilled by her right man, and for a man it is to be completed by his right woman. Eccles 9:9;

There is nothing that can compare with this happiness outside of the happiness that is found inside the PPOG when the believer attains the happiness of God by the advance into spiritual adulthood through the PMA of Bible Doctrine. Prov 3:13; NET note 34

A successful marriage is when those in the marriage through the PPOG for their lives or the laws of divine establishment, they attain happiness and live together in a state of contentment.

Establishment orientation is sufficient for unbelievers to be happpy, but It is impossible for believers to have a happy marriage apart from spiritual growth, execution of the PPOG, and each one possessing perfect happiness in spiritual maturity because of the greater pressure that is on the christian marriage because the christian marriage is the 3rd witness in the angelic conflict.

The best potential for a great marriage belongs to believers who are positive toward doctrine.

An unsuccessful marriage is when any combination of a happy person and an unhappy person get married, and the unhappy person causes the happy person to revert to the cosmic system.

Marriage itself does not give anyone true happiness.

There are those who are single who are waiting for their right man or right woman, however, if you are single and looking for happiness, do not look for it in marriage because you won't find it.

People are no better in marriage than they are as people. Marriage is a problem-manufacturing device which demands the best from every believer. Being married or single is not an issue in having the happiness of God.

In either status, a believer living inside of the PPOG for their life can have God's perfect happiness.

The marriage union forms the only legitimate environment for sex and the establishment of a family. It is also the basis for stability in society and is the foundation for order in a civilization. Rom 13:9;

The sanctity of the marriage contract forbids violations of trust expressed through sexual deviancies such as fornication, adultery, promiscuity, homosexuality, polygamy, communal living, and frivolous divorce.

In our society today marriage is being attacked by satan on many fronts including feminism, the libertine sexual deviancies of premarital and extramarital sex, cohabitation, frivolous divorce, and homosexuals demanding that their lifesyles be recognized as legitimate.

The third legitimate authority defined by God in the laws of divine establishment is the authority of the parents over the children in the family. Exod 20:12; Eph 6:1-4; Col 3:20-21;

The Family as an extension of marriage is the second fundamental organization in society. It is created when within the marriage, the husband and wife have children. The home provides children organized humility in an environment of material protection, provision, security, discipline, guidance, and parental love.

The family provides the framework for maintaining order in the society. Children are taught establishment and biblical norms and standards, the clarity of absolute rights and wrongs, and authority orientation.

The ultimate purpose of this training is to provide the child with the information and habits necessary for them to exercise their own free volition in making good decisions from a position of strength and become responsible citizens. Prov 22:6;

While parents have authority in the home, this authority is useless apart from training and discipline, which eventuates in the child accepting the parents' authority.

While young, children must learn to recognize the authority of their parents. As a result, they will develop love and respect for their parents later in life.

Those who are negative toward the authority of their parents become vessels of dishonor, whether believer or unbeliever, while those who respond become vessels of honor. Rom 9:19-21; KJV

The person's volition determines weather they are a vessel of honor or dishonor.

Thieme, R. B., Jr. writes in Freedom through Military Victory. 3d ed. ( R. B. Thieme, Jr., Bible Ministries, Houston TX 1996 ), Page 9: regarding the destruction of the nation as a result of the failure of marriages and families within that nation because of their failure to acknowledge God and PMA Bible Doctrine. Hosea 4:6; NET note 11,12

When parents do not fulfill their responsibility to love their children and children do not "honor" their parents, the nation suffers from insecurity, instability, and eventual loss of liberty.

National disintegration begins in the family.

1. Insecure husbands result in insecure wives.

2. Insecure parents result in insecure children.

3. Insecure children produce an insecure generation.

4. An insecure generation demands security.

5. In demanding security from government an insecure generation becomes an entitlement generation.

6. Entitlements are offered to an insecure generation by insecure politicians.

7. Insecure politicians offer some form of socialism that is always divorced from establishment principles found in the infallible Word of God.

8. An insecure government gains power and entitlements for itself and finances the pseudosecurity of socialism through confiscation of wealth by unjust taxation and redistribution of wealth in the name of the greater good for the greater number.

9. Utopian socialism combines with Marxism to establish economic and political doctrines based on false theories of dialectical materialism and the promotion of class warfare. The result is demagogic government that offers pseudosecurity to an insecure generation through public lies and false promises, destroying individual and national freedom.

10. Instead of government being the servant of the people, the entitled, insecure people become slaves to a dictatorial bureaucracy. Absolute power in the hands of insecure and incompetent rulers, whose power lust feeds on an insecure generation demanding something for nothing, results in a nation selling its heritage of freedom for a mess a pottage.

The cycle of insecurity starts with the dissolution of the family and ends with the internal self-destruction of a nation. Therefore, maintaining stability and freedom depend on the integrity and standards of marital and parental authority. When parents have no virtue, the next generation lacks virtue, becomes insecure, and the nation declines.

Adjustment to life and circumstances demands authority orientation. If a children do not develop respect for the authority of their parents,they will not be able to submit to the other positions of authority in his or her life: teachers, coaches, senior military officers, police, the law, the boss, the Gospel, the imperative moods of Scripture, the leadership of Christ as Head of the Church and the pastor as shepherd of the local flock, and, in addition, the wife to her husband.

When one generation fails to teach norms and standards, virtues and values, and authority orientation to its children,Deut 6:4-7; they become dysfunctional adults and their children continue the process of national decline.

The consequence of the destruction of marriage and the family in the decline of the nationial entity is described in Isa 3:12;

Today in our society satan is attacking the family by promoting the public lie of the progressives that states that there are no absolutes of right and wrong and by creating laws which take authority from the parents and give it to the government and the promotion of false concepts such as the idea that "it takes a village"

Progressive ideology discourages the discussion of biblical principles which offer guidance and restraint and common-sense standards of behavior that have been revealed by God in his word and discovered to work in the environment of real-life interpersonal relationships for thousands of years.

This political correctness has targeted and is destroying the divine institutions of marriage and family with its obsession with equality, multiculturalism and diversity.

The fourth law of divine estabilshment is Nationalism: which is the legitimate authority of the government over the citizens. Acts 17:26; Rom 13:1-8; Deut 32:8;
