Eph 2:8 For by such grace you have been saved through faith. This does not come from you; it is the gift of God.

Rom 4:3 For what does the Scripture say? "Abraham believed God, and it was credited to him as righteousness."

To grow in the grace and knowledge of Jesus Christ.

2Pe 3:18 Instead, continue to grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Glory belongs to him both now and on that eternal day! Amen.

Encourage each other in the faith/doctrine.

1Th 5:11 So then, encourage one another and build each other up, as you are doing.

1Th 3:2 and send Timothy, our brother and fellow worker for God in the gospel of Christ, to strengthen and encourage you in your faith, so that no one would be shaken by these persecutions. Indeed, you yourselves know that we were destined for this.
