Since we are in the Easter Season that started with the vernal equinox on March 20 that was followed by the new moon on March 26, for the past month or so we have been studying the Jewish Calendar and Holy Days that are Regulated by the Moon and Stars that are used to determine the time of our Lord's crucifixion, burial, and his resurrection that we celebrate on Resurrection Sunday.
We have seen that the Jewish Feasts that relate to the First Advent of TLJC are:
Passover (Pesach): Nisan 14, This year was on Wednesday (April 8, 2009) (the crucifixion of TLJC)
Unleavened Bread: Nisan 15. This year was on Thursday (April 9, 2009)
First Fruits: Nisan 18. This year was on Sunday (April 12, 2009) (the celebration of the resurrection of TLJC)
Pentecost (Shabuoth): Sivan 6, This year on Sunday (May 31, 2009) (The Holy Spirit was sent, beginning the Church age)
As we have noted, there was no Jewish Feast associated with the ascension that occurred 10 days before Pentecost this year will be on Friday May 22
Continuing from where we left off in our study last time regarding the results of the fulfillment of these days in the person and work of TLJC in his crucifixion, resurrection, ascension and session that results in Divine Power being provided to church age believers from his position at the right hand of the Father.
Divine power was utilized, transferred, and delegated to Church Age believers.
It is utilized in our portfolio of invisible assets, provided by the omnipotence of God the Father; transferred and delegated inside the operational divine power system by the omnipotence of God the Holy Spirit.
Eph 1:21; "Superior to every authority, both human power and authority as well as angelic power and authority, and superior to every title that can be named, not only in this age (the Church Age), but in the one destined to come (the Millennium)."
Eph 1:22; "And He (God the Father) has subordinated both angelic and human creatures under His feet; furthermore He (God the Father) has appointed Him ruler over all things to the Church."
This subjection of all things under his feet can be referred to as "operation footstool"
The first phase of "operation footstool" is the resurrection, ascension, and session of Christ.
The second part of the first phase is at the exit resurrection of the church when the church, the members Royal family of TLJC, the body of TLJC receive their resurrection bodies and are prepared to return with him in his second advent.
The second phase of operation footstool is the Second Advent of Christ. At that time, the baptism of fire will remove all unbelievers from the earth. Also in this second phase of operation footstool, Satan and the fallen angels are sentenced to 1000 years of jail.
Operation footstool is completed at the end of the Millennium with the suppression of the Gog and Magog Revolution that is sponsored and led by Satan after he is released from prison.
After that comes the second resurrection composed only of unbelievers and their judgment at the "great white throne", followed by the execution of the prehistoric sentence of Satan and all fallen angels to the lake of fire.
There would be no royal family without the appointment of Christ as prince-ruler over the Church. This means He rules all Church Age believers today weather they are aware of it as winners or unaware of it as losers.
Christ is the ruler of all creatures, angelic and human, no matter how rebellious. The most rebellious of all creatures today are not the fallen angels; they are born-again believers who fail to advance in the PPOG by their PMA of Bible Doctrine under whomever is their right pastor.
The Session of TLJC also removed the Levitical Priesthood and established the new Royal Priesthood.
Heb 8:1; "Now the main point on what is being communicated is this: we have such a high priest who has taken His seat at the right hand of the throne of the majesty in the heaven
Our Lord was not qualified by birth to be a Levitical priest in Israel. His priesthood, however, supersedes the priesthood of Israel because He is both a king and a priest.
Our Lord's priesthood is modeled after a royal priesthood of Melchizedek that was based on the patriarchal priesthood that preceded the Levitical priesthood of Israel.
Melchizedek was both a king and a priest. Our Lord is the king-priest as a result of His resurrection, ascension, and session.
His third royal commission makes Him Lord and King over all lords and kings. Therefore, our Lord's entire royal family, Church Age believers, are a part of that priesthood and are likewise lords and kings.
One of the unique factors of the Church Age is the universal priesthood of the believer.
Because believers today are in union with Christ, they are king-priests. This means all believers can directly address God the Father in prayer through Jesus Christ, because He is the greatest high priest ever and believer's are in union with him through the baptism of the Holy Spirit.
This is why we pray to God the Father in the power of the Holy Spirit who empowers our life inside the divine power system in the name of TLJC.
Jesus Christ is the high priest; believers are a kingdom of priests. As our high priest, Jesus Christ makes continuous intercession for us right now at the right hand of God the Father.
The ascension and session abrogates and rescinds the Israel's Levitical priesthood, replacing it with the royal priesthood, 1Pet 2:9; Rev 1:6, Rev 5:10; Rev 20:6; with TLJC as our high priest, Heb 10:1-10; Heb 7:25; Heb 8:1.
The session of TLJC demands a new mental attitude for church age believers as members of the new spiritual species, the Royal Family of God.
Col 3:1-2; "If therefore you have been raised in Christ (and you have in baptism of the Spirit in current positional truth), keep on desiring to possess the above things (escrow blessings) where Christ is, sitting at the right hand of the Father. Keep thinking objectively about the above things (doctrine), not things on the earth. For you have died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God."
To "possess the above things" requires that believers utilize the divine power that is made available inside the PPOG that requires persistent and consistent PMA of Bible Doctrine under the mentor ministry of God the Holy Spirit such that the rate of learning exceeds the rate of forgetting.
This only occurs when the believer has the right priorities and Bible Doctrine is their first priority.
This desire to glorify God by receiving capacity to receive the conveyance of their very own escrow blessings motivates believers to execute the PPOG. This motivation results in consistent spiritual growth from the daily PMA of Bible doctrine.
The fact that the glorified humanity of Christ is seated at the right hand of the Father is indicative of the fact that He has made this unique system of spiritual power available to believers today.
Objective thinking about the "above things" includes cognition of the portfolio of invisible assets, understanding the protocol plan of God in detail, awareness of the unique privileges related to the great power experiment of the Church Age, especially the ten problem solving devices.
The royal family's mental attitude is to be divine viewpoint from thinking metabolized Bible Doctrine rather than human viewpoint from thinking the of good and evil.
Because of this believers should have a very strong, positive mental attitude no matter what the circumstances or pressures of life that God permits to occur because these pressures are the opportunity for the believer to utilize this power in time and thereby glorify God.
If we're going to utilize divine power, we must understand the mechanics for its transfer and for its utilization.
Ignorance is a guarantee that the believer will function only on human power in their "old man" and not in divine power of their "new man"
The session is an indication of the authority of Christ. Rom 8:34; "Who is the one who condemns? Christ Jesus is the one who died. Yes, rather, who has been raised from the dead, who is at the right hand of God, who intercedes for us." Jesus Christ has supreme authority over all human and angelic creatures.
All of this time Christ holds the universe together by the power his word, Col 1:16-17;
