Characteristics of a Personal Sense of Destiny cont....

Picking up where we left off last time in our study of the characteristics of a personal sense of destiny.

The personal sense of destiny is the application of metabolized doctrine to the believer's self orientation in spiritual self esteem.

With a personal sense of destiny, this self orientation is the function of the spiritual skills (filling of the Spirit, metabolized doctrine circulating in the stream of consciousness, and the function of the ten problem solving devices) that replace the function of the arrogance skills (self-justification, self-deception, self-absorption).

God has provided in eternity past as a part of each believer's portfolio of invisible assets all the provision necessary for their own unique spiritual life. This is why believers are mandated not to compare themselves with other believers. 2Cor 10:12c;

A personal sense of destiny is the maximum application of metabolized doctrine to the believer's self orientation, so that their life on this earth has meaning, purpose, and definition that is related to the protocol plan of God.

Our post-salvation experience revolves around our spiritual life. Therefore, a personal sense of destiny as problem solving device number six is the advanced application of metabolized doctrine to the problems of life. God never puts on us more than we can bear, except in divine discipline so problem solving devices match the problems that God permits. 1Cor 10:13;

The personal sense of destiny provides the frame of reference that is necessary to apply doctrine to experience because with a personal sense of destiny the believer understands the uniqueness of the Church Age, the content of the portfolio of invisible assets, and the a fortiori of Rom 8:32.

A personal sense of destiny avoids the complications of life that are created by the function of the arrogance skills. Eph 4:22-23;

A personal sense of destiny is parlayed from the filling of the Holy Spirit and metabolized doctrine circulating in the stream of consciousness. It becomes an extension of the faith-rest drill and a more sophisticated and powerful means of applying doctrine to experience.

A personal sense of destiny looks forward, never backward. Therefore the self-orientation of the personal sense of destiny includes the doctrinal reality of future prophetical events beyond the exit resurrection of the Church.
