Last time we started a study on the uniqueness of the church age and concluded with the principle that the baptism of the Holy Spirit is the basis for creating a new spiritual species for the deployment of Divine power that is available to every Church Age believer equally.
This includes the omnipotence of the Father that is related to the provision of our portfolio of invisible assets. Eph 1:3;
The omnipotence of God the Son that is related to the perpetuation and preservation of human history and the holding together of the universe, Col 1:16-17;
And the omnipotence of God the Holy Spirit that is related to residence, function, and momentum inside the operational divine dynasphere that is means of executing the protocol plan of God. Rom 8:3-5; Gal 5:17-23;
The election or formation of the royal family of God is for the purpose of complementing our Lord's strategic victory in Hypostatic Union with the a tactical victory of those Church Age believers who choose to advance to spiritual maturity and form the pivot for a Gentile client nation. Rev 3:21;
Positional sanctification removes the areas of arrogant prejudice, systems of evil discrimination, and barriers of antagonism. This includes, the removal of racial, cultural, social, gender, economic, personality, political and religious barriers and prejudice.
These are all erased positionally at salvation but they are not erased experientially without spiritual growth. Conflicts are inevitable but protocol provides for the resolution of conflict. Eph 4:11-16; 1Pet 5:6-7; Eph 4:32;
Because of the baptism of the Holy Spirit every Church Age believer is positionally higher than angels. This principle taught in Hebrews chapters 1-2 (Heb 1:13-14;). This is because our union with Christ that positionally makes us higher than angels.
Jesus Christ came into the world through the virgin birth as a member of the human race and therefore lower than angels but because of His strategic victory in the great power demonstration of the Hypostatic Union, He became higher than angels. Heb 2:7-8;
Since we are in union with him in current positional truth through the baptism of the Spirit we are positionally higher than angels now and in our resurrection body, we will be physically higher than the angels.
The believer's union with Christ also means that very believer shares His eternal life. 1 John 5:11-12; "This is the record that God has given us eternal life, and this life is in His Son, Jesus Christ. So that whosoever believes in Him has eternal life."
This means we share the righteousness of Christ, 2 Cor 5:21; the election of Christ, Eph 1:4; the destiny of Christ, Eph 1:5; and the Sonship of Christ, Gal 3:26-28;
We also share the heirship of Christ, Rom 8:16-17; along with the inheritance 1Pet 1:4-5; "we have an inheritance which is incorruptible and undefiled, that fades not away, reserved in heaven for us who are kept by the power of God through faith unto salvation, ready to be revealed in the last time."
Every Church Age believer is an heir of God and a joint-heir with the Son of God. God has infinite wealth, and we share it all with Jesus Christ.
Because of our union with Him we also share His priesthood. 1Pet 2:9;
