Lam 3:21 -25; I recall this (doctrine) to my mind, and it gives me confidence. Because The Lord's mercy never fails; His grace provisions never cease, they are renewed every morning; Great is Your faithfulness... Therefore I have hope in Him. The Lord is good to those who wait silently on Him.
In our study of the doctrine of the winner believer. Heb 12:2; Rev 2:7; We have noted that winner believers are the unknown, unsung heroes of history. 2Cor 6:9; who are the targets of God's grace imputations and the reason that God continues to support the human race.
We are now in a segment where we are discussing the doctrine of church age spirituality that is based on the indwelling and filling ministries of God the Holy Spirit.
When we stopped last time we had noted that the believer with momentum inside God's spiritual power system has confidence in God because he is operating in compliance with God's Word of truth.
Compliance with God's Word of truth under the mentorship of God the Holy Spirit results in residence and function inside God's operational spiritual power system where God establishes and maintains purification. John 15:3; Eph 5:26;
Since God cannot sin any decision to sin occurs outside of God's spiritual power system. Sin occurs when the believer rejects God's mandate to keep on being filled with the Spirit and chooses to pursue the lust patterns of the OSN.
The believer's volitional choice to sin results in their exiting the virtue and integrity love of God's spiritual power system and entering the lawlessness, perversion, human good and evil, and hatred for God, Jesus Christ and God's Word that is the production of satan's the cosmic system.
1John 3:6; "When anyone sins, he has not seen Him" means no motivational virtue from personal love for God that comes from the knowledge of God that is revealed to us in God's Word of truth. 1John 4:19;
1John 3:7; Believers are spiritual children because "they are the sons of God by faith in Christ Jesus." (Gal 3:26;) The performance of or execution of righteousness is the production of virtue that is established inside God's spiritual power system.
The filling ministry of the Spirit automatically produces virtue that always complies with the mandates of God's Word of truth that make up God's law. Gal 5 22-23;
That is why believers who are filled with the Spirit cannot commit sin because sin is lawlessness or failure to comply with God's mandates. 1John 3:4; KJV
The only way that believers can comply with the standards that are required by God's perfect righteousness is by being filled with the Sprit
God enters everyone who believes in Jesus Christ into His spiritual power system at the moment that they believe. At that moment they are filled with the spirit, all past sins have been forgiven and they are not in a state of sin. Col 1:13-14; 2Cor 5:21;
After salvation, the believer's sins are forgiven incrementally as known sins are simply acknowledged to God alone. 1John1: 9; Psa 51:4;
1John 3:8; Jesus came to destroy the works of the devil who invented sin. This verse explains root cause of the angelic conflict and how that conflict extends into humanity where that conflict continues unabated between the children of satan and the children of God.
1John 3:9; "His seed keeps residing in him" means the enabling power of the Holy Spirit continues to reside inside the believer who resides inside God's spiritual power system. "He is able not to sin" (pose non pecare) is only true as long as the believer resides inside God's spiritual power system.
Believers have volition so they have to make continuous choices in their stream of consciousness to persist inside of God's spiritual power system and when they fail they are automatically entered into satan's cosmic system.
Failure occurs when believers succumb to temptation, and make a decision to submit to the temptation and sin. James 1:14-15; At that point the believer is immediately ensnared by OSN control of the soul and enters into satan's cosmic system.
The only way to recover from satan's cosmic system is through the use of non-meritorious positive volition to take advantage of God's grace provision for sin and simply acknowledge any known sin that the Holy Spirit helps the believer who is in the state of carnality remember.
Without the enabling power of the Spirit inside God's spiritual power system, no one can execute God's plan, purpose and directive will for their lives. 1Cor 2:14;
By simply acknowledging any known sin the believer is restored to God's power system where the potential to comply with God's directive will exists.
This is why the recovery procedure is called "rebound." By complying with God's mandate to acknowledge any known sin the believer who has exited God's system "rebounds" from satan's cosmic system back into God's spiritual power system.
1John 1:4-10; "In fact, we write these things in order that our happiness might be complete.
v5 This is the message which we have heard from Him and we have communicated it to you, that God is light and in Him is no darkness at all.
v6 If we contend that we have fellowship with Him and we keep walking in darkness (satan's cosmic system), we are lying and do not practice the truth (Bible doctrine) .
v7 If we keep walking in the light (residence, function, and momentum in God's spiritual power system) as He is in the light ( the glorified humanity of Christ in heaven at the right hand of the Father), we keep on having fellowship with each other, and the "blood" of Jesus His Son ( the substitionary spiritual death of Jesus Christ on the cross that paid for all sin) keeps on purifying us from all sin.
1John 1:8; If we (believers) allege that we have no sin, then we are deceiving ourselves and the truth (Bible doctrine) is not in us.
v9 If we (choose to) acknowledge our sins (we may or we may not), He is faithful and righteous so He forgives us our (known) sins and purifies us from all unrighteousness (unknown sins).
v10 If we allege that we have not sinned, we keep making Him a liar (because we are contradicting Him) and His Word (of truth) does not reside in us.
