Lam 3:21 -25; I recall this (doctrine) to my mind, and it gives me confidence. Because The Lord's mercy never fails; His grace provisions never cease, they are renewed every morning; Great is Your faithfulness... Therefore I have hope in Him. The Lord is good to those who wait silently on Him.
In our study of the doctrine of the winner believer. Heb 12:2; Rev 2:7; We have noted that winner believers are the unknown, unsung heroes of history. 2Cor 6:9; who are the targets of God's grace imputations and the reason that God continues to support the human race.
We are now in a segment where we are discussing the doctrine of church age spirituality that is based on the indwelling and filling ministries of God the Holy Spirit.
When we stopped last time we were noting God's non-meritorious recovery procedure for the volitional choice to reject the filling ministry of God the Holy Spirit and commit personal sin found in 1John 1:4-10;
v4 "In fact, we write these things in order that our happiness might be complete.
v5 This is the message which we have heard from Him and we have communicated it to you, that God is light and in Him is no darkness at all.
v6 If we contend that we have fellowship with Him and we keep walking in darkness (satan's cosmic system), we are lying and do not practice the truth (Bible doctrine) .
v7 If we keep walking in the light (residence, function, and momentum in God's spiritual power system) as He is in the light ( the glorified humanity of Christ in heaven at the right hand of the Father), we keep on having fellowship with each other, and the "blood" of Jesus His Son ( the substitutionary spiritual death of Jesus Christ on the cross that paid for all sin) keeps on purifying us from all sin.
1John 1:8; If we (believers) allege that we have no sin, then we are deceiving ourselves and the truth (Bible doctrine) is not in us.
v9 If we (choose to) acknowledge our sins (we may or we may not), He is faithful and righteous so He forgives us our (known) sins and purifies us from all unrighteousness (unknown sins).
v10 If we allege that we have not sinned, we keep making Him a liar (because we are contradicting Him) and His Word (of truth) does not reside in us.
1John 1:4; Contentment and tranquility aka the happiness of God is fulfilled when we have advanced in God's spiritual power system to the point where we have unconditional integrity love for all mankind that is built upon our understanding of God's personal love for us.
Residence in satan's cosmic system is walking in darkness. Residence in God's spiritual power system is walking in the light. It is impossible to walk in the darkness of satan's cosmic system and simultaneously have fellowship with God because light and darkness are mutually exclusive and light destroys darkness.
In 1John 1:6; to "not practice truth (Bible doctrine)" means no momentum from metabolized doctrine and therefore no ability to reside and function in God's spiritual power system.
Fellowship between believers aka "Christian fellowship" is enabled by metabolized doctrine in the soul combined with the mentorship of God the Holy Spirit that functions exclusively within God's spiritual power system. Eph 4:3,13;
In 1John 1:9; the present active subjunctive of "homologo" means to admit, confess, acknowledge, name or cite as a witness in front of a judge in a courtroom. All that is needed is a simple statement of fact. No emotion, no guilt or remorse is necessary.
