Gal 1:3-5;NET Grace and peace to you from God the Father and our Lord Jesus Christ,

v4 who gave himself for our sins to rescue us from this present evil age according to the will of our God and Father,

v5 to whom be glory forever and ever! Amen.

Phil 1:27-28;NET Only conduct yourselves in a manner worthy of the gospel of Christ so that - whether I come and see you or whether I remain absent - I should hear that you are standing firm in one spirit, with one mind, by contending side by side for the faith of the gospel,

v28 NIV and by not being frightened by your opponents in any way. This is a sign to them that they will be destroyed but that you will be saved- and that from God.

We are presently in a study of satan's cosmic system, a system of arrogant demonic thinking that is comprised of lies and deceit from demonic viewpoint that since the fall in the Garden of Eden, separated from God in the darkness of spiritual death has become the viewpoint of the entire human race. 1Cor 2:14; Rev 12:9;

At this point in our study we are examining the various manifestations of the arrogance complex of satan's cosmic system. We have noted that arrogance creates weakness and makes the unbeliever susceptible to demon possession and the believer susceptible demon influence so it is the point of satan attack.

We are presently noting role model arrogance that is a subcategory of iconoclastic arrogance. We noted that when role model arrogance occurs in a local assembly of the church it creates hypocrisy in the clergy and legalism in the congregation.

In this situation both the pastor and the congregation are distracted away from learning the mystery doctrine of the Church Age that provides the information that is required to glorify God under His grace policy through the execution of God's unique protocol plan for Church Age believers.

Role model arrogance attempts to impose impossible standards of perfection on others ignoring the fact that after salvation all believers continue have a sin nature, and therefore continue to sin, 1John 1:8-10.

Without consistent post-salvation renovation of the thinking from consistent perception, metabolization of doctrine, there is no solution for the evil unrealistic expectations that are created by role model arrogance.

In the church, role model arrogance distracts Christians from doctrine by placing emphasis on the personality of the pastor rather than on the content of his message.

Only the content of the pastor's message can cause spiritual growth and the fulfillment of God's plan, purpose, and will for your life because it is not about the communicator; it's about the information that is being communicated.

Satan's cosmic system assaults both the communication and the communicator because his objective is to discredit and malign truth so people will reject it.

Unrealistic expectation means that arrogant people are not loved the way they want to be loved or treated the way they want to be treated.

Role model arrogance plus unrealistic expectations combine to form a tragic flaw in the believer. It is the tragic flaw of the hypocritical double standard where people justify their own sins and failures while they simultaneously self righteously judge, slander, and condemn the exact same sins and failures in others.

This self-righteous arrogance includes the arrogance of legalism, personality arrogance, the arrogance of morality, authority arrogance, impulsive arrogance, conspiracy arrogance, crusader arrogance, the arrogance of Christian service, and transference arrogance.

Role model arrogance plus unrealistic expectation results in the malfunction of focus. Focus on self is a double standard that is used to justify self in order to rationalize your own sins and failures so you can ignore and excuse your own moral or immoral degeneracy.

Focus on people becomes the basis of envy, hatred, bitterness, revenge, gossip, maligning, slander, inordinate ambition, inordinate competition and implacability.

Focus on things can become the basis of envious arrogant resentment because others possess material things or have the admiration from people that you do not have.

God's Word addresses these problems: Phil 4:11-13; Not that I speak from want, for I have learned to be content in whatever circumstances I am...

v12 I know how to get along with humble means, and I also know how to live in prosperity; in any and every circumstance I have learned the secret of being filled and going hungry, both of having abundance and suffering need.

v13 I can do all things through Him who strengthens me...

1Tim 6:6,8; "Godliness is a means of great profit when accompanied by contentment. And if we have food and clothing, with these we shall be content."

Heb 13:5; NIV "Let your lifestyle be free from the love of money, and be content with what you have, for He Himself has said, `I will never leave you; I will never forsake you.'"

One of the destructive consequences of having your eyes on things is having arrogant frustration from seeing the wicked prosper. This seeming contradiction can distract the believer from consistent perception of Bible doctrine and the execution of God's protocol plan for their lives.

There is no need for this because God's Word clearly explains why the wicked prosper in the devil's world.

They prosper because of their Identification with an invisible hero. They prosper from logistical grace blessing from God that is unconditionally imputed to the imputed divine righteousness that every believer receives at salvation.

Evil people prosper because they are evil people and they are living in an evil society so they are able to temporarily prosper within the framework of that evil society until God determines that the evil in that evil society has escalated to the point that it is time for it to be destroyed before it does any more damage.
