The assault on God's Word of truth in our county is destroying our freedom because there is no capacity for freedom when the citizens of the nation have rejected God's Word of truth.
Hosea 4:6; My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge. Because you have rejected knowledge, I also will reject you from being My priest. Since you have forgotten the law of your God, I also will forget your children.
We are in a study of satan's cosmic system, a system of arrogant demonic thinking that is comprised of lies and deceit from demonic viewpoint that since the fall in the Garden of Eden, separated from God in the darkness of spiritual death has become the viewpoint of the entire human race. 1Cor 2:14; Rev 12:9;
At this point in our study we are looking at satan's cosmic 2 system where irrationality, disillusionment and discontent from operating in cosmic 1 arrogance metastasizes into hatred, hostility, and antagonism toward God, God's people, God's policy and God's plan.
Last time we noted that both cosmic one and cosmic two are entered through rejection of truth but whither the entry will be into cosmic one or cosmic two is determined by the category of negative volition that is expressed.
Negative volition in cosmic one always results from arrogance and preoccupation with self, but does not necessarily indicate antagonism or hatred toward God, His Word and His people who represent and communicate it.
Negative volition in cosmic two occurs when there is of hostility and hatred toward God's Word and toward God's people who represent and communicate it.
The volitional choice to enter cosmic one can come from indifference to doctrine or having the wrong priorities from arrogance.
The volitional choice to enter into cosmic two comes from open antagonism, hatred, opposition and hostility toward God or His people who represent, subscribe to and communicate God's Word of truth.
This is why anti-Semitism is an excellent example of cosmic two. The increased vitriol and hatred that we are experiencing in our nation at this time is because many people who were previously only involved with the arrogance of cosmic one are now becoming more and more involved with the hatred and antagonism of cosmic two.
The loss of blessing from functioning in cosmic one creates disillusion and disappointment in the nation and when there is no rebound recovery unchecked arrogance from cosmic one metastasizes into cosmic two where hatred and anger project blame on others.
This is what happened in France resulting in the French Revolution and Napoleon as dictator, It is what happened in Turkey resulting in the Armenian genocide, it also occurred in Russia before the communist revolution, and in Germany where it led to the rise of Hitler.
If we don't rebound from this and begin to operate on the basis of establishment principles and Bible Doctrine from God's Word of truth our nation will suffer the same consequences.
There are four areas of antagonism toward Bible doctrine that occur at the entrance into cosmic two.
Negative volition toward Divine establishment that can occur in both believer and unbeliever. Deut 30:15-20;
Negative volition at God-consciousness, a characteristic of the unbeliever only, Rom 1:18-25;
Negative volition at Gospel hearing, a characteristic of the unbeliever only, 2Cor 4:3-4;
Negative volition toward Bible teaching after salvation, a characteristic of believers only Hosea 4:6;
The believer can be negative toward Bible doctrine in any of three categories. Negative volition at the point of reception rejects the message when the pastor presents it.
Negative volition at the point of retention is rejection of doctrine after the Holy Spirit communicates it for understanding resulting in no metabolization of doctrine for recall.
Negative volition at the point of recall means there is no application of metabolized doctrine, nonfunctional problem solving devices, no momentum, and therefore no spiritual advance for fulfillment of God's protocol plan for the Church Age believer.
All negative volition in the human race can be classified as rejection of or antagonism against God's Word of truth in one or more of its three categories.
The three categories of truth are: The laws of divine establishment for believer and unbeliever, the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ for unbelievers, and Bible doctrine exclusively for believers in Jesus Christ.
After salvation the most important activity for the believer is the renovation of their thinking with God's Word of truth under the ministry of God the Holy Spirit. This requires the believer to maintain the filling ministry of God's the Holy Spirit and to be committed to learning God's Word academically. Eph 5:18; Eph 4:11-16;
