2Chron 7:13-14; "If I shut up the heavens so that there is no rain, or if I command the locust to devour the land, or if I send pestilence among My people, (14) and My people who are called by My name humble themselves and pray and seek My face and turn from their evil ways, then I will hear from heaven, will forgive their sin and will heal their land.
Eccles 8:8; No man has authority to restrain the wind with the wind, or authority over the day of death; and there is no discharge in the time of war, and evil people will not be saved from their evil.
Hosea 10:13-14; But you have planted wickedness, you have reaped evil, you have eaten the fruit of deception. Because you have depended on your own strength and on your many warriors,
14 the roar of battle will rise against your people, so that all your fortresses will be devastated- as Shalman devastated Beth Arbel on the day of battle, when mothers were dashed to the ground with their children.
Dan 5:25-28; "Now this is the inscription that was written out: 'MENE, MENE, TEKEL, UPHARSIN.'
26 "This is the interpretation of the message: 'MENE'-God has numbered your kingdom and put an end to it.
27 " 'TEKEL'-you have been weighed on the scales and found deficient.
28 " 'PERES'-your kingdom has been divided and given over to the Medes and Persians."
Dan 5:30-31; That same night Belshazzar the Chaldean king was slain.
31 So Darius the Mede received the kingdom at about the age of sixty-two.
Phil 4:4-7 Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, rejoice!
5 Let your gentle spirit be known to all men. The Lord is near.

We are presently in a study of the doctrine of evil that is the product of believing the false narrative of the public lie that satan, the god of this world, fabricates and asserts in opposition to truth and righteousness. Eph 6:12; 2Cor 10:5;
The last time we made it to our study we noted that sincerely wrong self-righteous legalistic do-gooder crusaders are major practitioners of evil. The more a person is involved in sincerely wrong human good crusader arrogance, the more they are motivated by evil.
Believers are warned to beware of people who practice evil, Phil 3:2; They are to beware of them because their evil distorts and mutilates everything it touches, even legitimate things are distorted, mutilated, misused and abused by evil. 2Cor 11:13;
The warning to beware does not necessarily mean that we are to avoid evil people but it does mean that we recognize and understand their motivation and refuse to cooperate with them.
It is very difficult to recover from evil after it has mutilated the believer's frame of reference that establishes their norms and standards. This is why every client nation eventually succumbs to idolatry that results in the four generation curse and the 5 cycles of discipline Exod 20:5;
In 3John 11; believers are warned not to be influenced by evil. "Beloved, do not be imitators of evil (satan's cosmic lie) but of the good (God's Word of truth)."
We have noted in our study of satan's cosmic systems that living in the lies of the cosmos results in the arrogant pursuit of things that have no eternal value. Eccles 5:16;
This is because satan's cosmic lie focuses exclusively on temporal physical life that is based on what is visible on the earth in the devil's world and ignores what is invisible, God, Jesus Christ, and God's Word of truth in all of its categories can only be perceived on the basis of believing the doctrine. Matt 24:35; Heb 11:1-2;
Those who are under the influence of evil will always succumb to pressure from their idolatry. 1Tim 6:10; "The love of money is a root of all evil..."
