The light came into the world to save it on the basis of the forgiveness available from God's nuclear option of judging Jesus Christ on the cross for sins of the entire world. 1John 2:1-2;
John 3:17-18; "For God did not send the Son into the world to judge the world, but that the world might be saved through Him. (18) "He who believes in Him is not judged; he who does not believe has been judged already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.
John 3:19; "This is the judgment, that the Light has come into the world, and people loved the darkness rather than the Light, because their deeds were evil.
We noted the mandate for believers to unconditionally forgive based on the power of God's nuclear option. Eph 4:30-32;
Isa 28:16-17;Therefore thus says the Lord God, "Behold, I am laying in Zion a stone, a tested stone, A costly cornerstone for the foundation, firmly placed. He who believes in it will not panic (17) "I will make justice the measuring line and righteousness the level; then hail will sweep away the refuge of lies And the flood waters will overwhelm their hiding place.
We are presently in a study of the doctrine of evil that is the product of believing the false narrative of the public lie aka darkness that satan, the god of this world, fabricates and asserts in his war against God's Word of truth aka light. Eph 6:12; 2Cor 10:5;
We are noting the gates that enter into the hatred of satan's cosmic two system. When we stopped last time we were noting religion with its ritualism and legalism that is Satan's counterfeit for God's grace policy and plan
Psa 5:4; and James 1:13-17; that tell us that there is no evil with God. It is impossible for any of God's attributes to be evil because God is devoid of all the evil things satan always does.
The fact that there is no evil in God is the basis of the battle in angelic conflict. There is no evil with God but satan who is evil in his arrogance and hatred alleges that God is evil because He condemns unrighteousness.
God protects the supergrace believer from evil. In satan's world. Supergrace is no-man's land. Evil's most powerful assaults are launched against believers in supergrace, so when you become a mature believer you will be more aware of evil and encounter all kinds of evil.
Satan uses evil to try to get believers to become anxious about their situation and drop their guard and go negative towards God's Word of truth. 1Pet 5:6-10; Phil 4:6-7;
This is described in Psa 21:11; Psa 23:4; Prov 12:12,20,21; Gen 48:16; and Gen 50:20; "You meant it for evil, but God meant it for good."
God uses satan's evil to advance positive believers in His plan of grace and knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. 2Pet 3:18; Rom 8:28-39; NET
Heb 11:24-25; Tells us that sin can be pleasurable for a short time but evil never provides any contentment or pleasure. People can have a pseudo happiness while living in sin but with evil there is never any kind of satisfaction or happiness.
This is why evil people rage with discontentment and implacability and seek to destroy everything around them. Jude 4-16; Psa 2:1-3;
This is why the evil people who hate our country and its founding are so unhinged.
God protects positive believers from evil. Psa 37:16-19; "They [mature believers] will not be ashamed in the time of evil; in the day of depression they will still have abundance." Psa 91:10, Psa 97:10, Psa 119:101, Psa 121:7; Prov 2:10-14.
