The doctrine of evil part 51

https://youtu.be/IM37IqyFF-M

Rev 12:9; And the great dragon was thrown down, the serpent of old who is called the devil and Satan, who deceives the whole world; he was thrown down to the earth, and his angels were thrown down with him.

Rom 3:10-18; as it is written, "There is none righteous, not even one;
11 There is none who understands, There is none who seeks for God;
12 All have turned aside, together they have become useless; There is none who does good, There is not even one."

13 "Their throat is an open grave, With their tongues they keep deceiving," "The poison of asps is under their lips";
14 "Whose mouth is full of cursing and bitterness";

15 "Their feet are swift to shed blood,
16 Destruction and misery are in their paths,
17 And the path of peace they have not known."
18 "There is no fear of God before their eyes."

Isa 5:20-23; Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil; Who substitute darkness for light and light for darkness; Who substitute bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter!
21 Woe to those who are wise in their own eyes And clever in their own sight!
22 Woe to those who are heroes in drinking wine And valiant men in mixing strong drink,
23 Who justify the wicked for a bribe, And take away the rights of the ones who are in the right!

2Tim 3:13; But evil men and impostors will proceed from bad to worse, deceiving others and being self deceived.

Rom 12:17-21; Never pay back evil for evil to anyone. Respect what is right in the sight of all men. (18) If possible, so far as it depends on you, be at peace with all men.

19 Never take your own revenge, beloved, but leave room for the wrath of God, for it is written, "Vengeance is Mine, I will repay," says the Lord.
20 "But if your enemy is hungry, feed him, and if he is thirsty, give him a drink; for in so doing you will heap burning coals on his head."
21 Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with divine good.

We are presently in a study of the doctrine of evil that is the product of believing the false narrative of the public lie aka darkness that satan, the god of this world, fabricates and asserts in his war against God's Word of truth aka light. Eph 6:12; 2Cor 10:5;

When we stopped last time we had noted that unbelieving Jews want the crown without the cross. In the analogy between the Jewish holocaust of the Tribulation and the torture of the pregnant mother who can't be delivered in Rev 12:2;

The labor pains of the pregnancy continue till the baby is delivered. For the unbelieving Jew the holocaust continues until he believes in Christ because believing in Jesus corresponds to the delivery of the baby.

Jews can't evade the responsibility for their bad decisions. In the passive arrogance that is developed from their unbelief they unwittingly set themselves up as targets for holocaust treatment.

No Doctrinal believer will ever participate in the persecution of Jews or anyone else but Christian religiosity does. Without doctrinal truth in the three categories of establishment, the Gospel, and Bible Doctrine no individual, nation, or group can develop a personal sense of destiny.

Loss of a personal sense of destiny results in passive arrogance that will not fight back against active arrogance.

Christian activism is active arrogance that is developed from the evil legalism of Christian religiosity. True Christianity is grace oriented and tolerant so it does not get involved with the self-righteous legalism of Christian activism.

The following are some of the testimonies God's people have made regarding evil throughout the course of human history that God's Word records:

Jacob: Gen 48:16; "The angel who has redeemed me from all evil."
Joseph: Gen 50:20; "You intended evil against me, but God meant it for good."

David: Psa 84:10; For a day in Your courts is better than a thousand outside. I would rather stand at the threshold of the house of my God Than dwell in the tents of wickedness.

Psa 37:25-27; "I have been young, now I am old; yet I have not seen the righteous forsaken, nor His seed begging bread. Depart from evil and do good; therefore, live a long time."

Job: Job 28:28; "The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom; to shun evil is understanding of doctrine."

Solomon: Prov 16:6,17; "And by occupation with the Lord one stays away from evil. The highway of the mature believer is to depart from evil."

Isaiah: Isa 59:15; "And the one who turns aside into evil makes himself a target."

Jeremiah: Jer 23:21-22; Jer 9:3-9;

Our Lord Jesus Christ: John 17:15; "I do not ask You to take them out of the world, but to protect them from evil."

God's mandate for us; 1Thes 5:22; "Abstain from every form of evil."

1Pet 3:8-17; To sum up, all of you be harmonious, sympathetic, brotherly, kindhearted, and humble in spirit;
9 not returning evil for evil or insult for insult, but giving a blessing instead; for you were called for the very purpose that you might inherit a blessing.

10 For, (Psa 34:12-22;) "The one who desires life, to love and see good days, Must keep his tongue from evil and his lips from speaking deceit.
11 "He must turn away from evil and do good; He must seek peace and pursue it.

12 "For the eyes of the Lord are toward the righteous, And His ears attend to their prayer, But the face of the Lord is against those who do evil."
13 Who is there to harm you if you prove zealous for what is good?

14 But even if you should suffer for the sake of righteousness, you are blessed. And do not fear their intimidation, and do not be troubled,
15 but sanctify Christ as Lord in your hearts, always being ready to make a defense to everyone who asks you to give an account for the hope that is in you, yet with gentleness and reverence;

16 and keep a good conscience so that in the thing in which you are slandered, those who revile your good behavior in Christ will be put to shame.
17 For it is better, if God should will it so, that you suffer for doing what is right rather than for doing what is wrong.
