Rev 12:7-9; And there was war in heaven, Michael and his angels waging war with the dragon. The dragon and his angels waged war,

9 And the great dragon was thrown down, the serpent of old who is called the devil and Satan, who deceives the whole world; he was thrown down to the earth, and his angels were thrown down with him.
Matt 24:6-8;"You will be hearing of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not frightened, for those things must take place, but that is not yet the end.
7 "For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom, and in various places there will be famines and earthquakes.
8 "But all these things are merely the beginning of birth pangs.
2Tim 3:12-13; Indeed, all who desire to live godly in Christ Jesus will be persecuted.13 and evil men and demagogues will proceed from bad to worse, deceiving and being deceived.
Jer 50:6-7; "My people have become lost sheep. Their shepherds have led them astray. They have wandered around in the mountains. They have roamed from one mountain and hill to another. They have forgotten their resting place.
7 All who encountered them devoured them. Their enemies who did this said, 'We are not liable for punishment! For those people have sinned against the Lord, their true pasture. They have sinned against the Lord in whom their ancestors trusted.'
We've noted how these evil people and imposters are working to turn God's client nation into a totalitarian state and they call anyone who opposes them insurrectionists and traitors.
But God is using the wrath of man to praise Him Psa 78:10 because the truth cannot be denied 2Cor 13:10; and working the entire mess together for the benefit of those who love Him. Rom 8:28; those who wait patiently for Him Isa 40:31;
Because Jesus came to save what was lost and destroy the works of the devil. Matt 18:11; 1John 3:8c; who deceives the entire world Rev 12:9;
Psa 34:19; Many are the afflictions of the righteous, But the Lord delivers him out of them all.
2Cor 12:9-10; He has said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for power is perfected in weakness." Most gladly, therefore, I will rather boast about my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may dwell in me.
10 Therefore I am well content with weaknesses, with insults, with distresses, with persecutions, with difficulties, for Christ's sake; for when I am weak, then I am strong
2Cor 4:17-18; For momentary, light affliction is producing for us an eternal weight of glory far beyond all comparison, 18 while we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen; for the things which are seen are temporal, but the things which are not seen are eternal.
Last time in our study on the judgment seat of Christ we noted that at the moment of salvation God irrevocably equips every believer with the logistical grace that is necessary to understand Bible doctrine but each believer must use his or her own free volition to choose to learn God's Word.
The perception of Bible doctrine is the sine que non for the believer's freedom and security because truth is the predicate for freedom and freedom is the predicate for security. There is no security apart from truth.
Compliance with God's mandate to reside and function in His power system provides everything the believer needs for life and happiness during their life in the adverse environment of the devil's world. Prov 3:18;
Degeneracy has many forms and is always the product of functional evil. All degeneracy starts with arrogance. Arrogance is the door into satan's cosmic one system, and preoccupation with self leads to psychosis, neurosis, and other irrational mental problems.
It demonstrates the principle that we are the products of our own decisions because an arrogant nation is a self-destructive nation. But you never begin by suddenly breaking through all barriers and moving into degeneracy. Instead it starts slowly and develops momentum from a thought pattern of arrogance.
In times of degeneracy the public is especially bad. They are fearful so they vacillate very easily. And very quickly they form a mob that demagogues use as political weapons. This is what is occurring in the USA at this time.
There is a way that this can be corrected so the people can begin to think for themselves again.
But for this to occur they have to take a look at what happened to our Lord Jesus Christ who in His hypostatic union was the only perfect person who has ever lived on this earth was revealed to His people and nation.
John 1:11; "He came unto his own and his own die not accept Him."
One of the greatest historical demonstrations of human fickleness was related to our Lord Jesus Christ and how easy it was for the evil politicians to incite the crowds against Him. The more truth He gave and the more He was right, the more the evil people in power demonstrated their vacillation and fickleness.
And once you become aware of this historical trend it is very easy to become discouraged but there is always the factor related to Bible doctrine, a factor related to truth that can turn it all around and bring stability into life and crystallize your opinions, your standards and your priorities.
And that is to remember our Lord Jesus Christ. This is what the communion table is for, the recall of who, what, why and how of Jesus Christ. Luke 22:19-21;
It is a stabilizing factor for those who have Bible doctrine because it calls upon them to use the same concentration that is used for the perception of doctrine, the same concentration that is required to be successful in any facet of life .to concentrate on Jesus. Phil 2:5-11; Heb 12:2;
Perception of doctrine is the predicate for freedom and security. Truth is the basis of Freedom that is the origin of true security in life so the function of freedom must be directed toward God's e mandate for us to reside and function inside the wall of fire in His system.
The security of believers begins at the point of salvation through faith in Christ. At that moment they receive two major categories of security from God.
Eternal security related to the possession of eternal salvation as a work of God and guarantee that we shall spend eternity in the presence of God. John 10:28-29;
Temporal security which is related to the imputation of divine righteousness, forming a grace pipeline for the flow of logistical grace support. Phil 4; 19; Rom 8:31;
The believer cannot earn, deserve, merit or work for either category of this security because it is supplied on the basis of grace alone.
