Believers who involved in the cosmic system have no wall of fire and are often disciplined by God during historical disaster.
God uses historical disaster to discipline and often to remove carnal cosmic believers from the earth. Too many carnal cosmic believers form an anti-pivot so when there are too many carnal cosmic believers in the client nation the nation becomes self-destructive.
A nation will actually destroy itself were it not for the fact that every year God eliminates from the client nation a number of carnal cosmic believers.
Cosmic involvement produces social degeneration, economic disaster, and military defeat. This is what we see occurring in client nation USA at this time because we have too many carnal cosmic believers in our nation.
Lev 26:14-20; 'But if you do not obey Me and do not carry out all these commandments,
15 if, instead, you reject My statutes, and if your soul abhors My ordinances so as not to carry out all My commandments, and so break My covenant,
16 I, in turn, will do this to you: I will appoint over you a sudden terror, consumption and fever that will waste away the eyes and cause the soul to pine away; also, you will sow your seed uselessly, for your enemies will eat it up.
17'I will set My face against you so that you will be struck down before your enemies; and those who hate you will rule over you, and you will flee when no one is pursuing you.
18 'If also after these things you do not obey Me, then I will punish you seven times more for your sins.
19'I will also break down your pride of power; I will also make your sky like iron and your earth like bronze.
20'Your strength will be spent uselessly, for your land will not yield its produce and the trees of the land will not yield their fruit.
In our study on the judgment seat of Christ based on Rev 2:11; we took up a study of the doctrine of death were we are presently in a study of the positional death of the believer.
Positional death is defined as identification with Christ in two ways: retroactive positional truth identifies us with Jesus Christ in His death and burial; and current positional truth that identifies us with Jesus Christ in His resurrection life.
We noted that positional truth belongs to all believers. It belongs to the carnal cosmic believer as well as the spiritual believer, to the supergrace believer and the reversionistic believer.1Cor 1:2, 30;
Positional truth protects the believer from divine judgment in eternity. Being in union with Christ means that we share His life (eternal), His righteousness +R, that means it is impossible for us to be judged at the great white throne and cast into the lake of purification aka fire. Every believer shares His sonship, His heirship, His priesthood, His election, His destiny, and His kingship. Rom 8:1;
Positional sanctification qualifies the believer to live with God forever. If you are going to live with God forever there are certain things you must have: eternal life, +R 1John 5:11-12; 2Cor 5:21;
The believer enters into union with Christ, he shares the life of Christ, the righteousness of Christ, therefore he is qualified to live with God forever, he has the same kind of life that God has and the same kind of righteousness that God has.
Positional truth explains both election and predestination. The principle is that in eternity past Jesus Christ was elected by God the Father. In electing Christ He also gave Him a destiny.
When we enter into union with Christ we share the election of Christ so we share the destiny of Christ; therefore we are predesigned and foreordained by virtue of union with Christ. Remember that Christianity is a relationship: It is union with Christ, not a religion. It's about who you are not what you do.
Positional truth produces a new spiritual species aka a new creature in Christ. 2Cor 5:17;
Positional truth guarantees the eternal security of the believer. Rom 8:38,39;
Positional truth exists in two categories: retroactive and current. When Jesus Christ died on the cross every personal sin that every person ever commits was poured out on Him and judged. At the same mime human good was rejected.
When we believe in Jesus Christ as savior we enter into union with Christ where He is currently seated at the right hand of the Father. But we also enter into union with Christ retroactively while He was upon the cross dying His substitutionary forensic spiritual death.
We are first identified with Christ in His death and then we are identified with Christ in His resurrection and ascension.
Retroactive positional truth is identification with Christ in His death. Rom 6; Col 2:12; Col 3:3; Current positional truth is identification with Christ in His resurrection.
The implications of current positional truth have to do with the fact that we share what Christ has. Christ is seated at the right hand of the Father, we share everything that Christ has and is.
