Hosea 4:6; My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge. Because you have rejected knowledge, I also will reject you from being My priest. Since you have forgotten the law of your God, I also will forget your children.
2Cor 13:8; We can do nothing against the truth but only for the truth.
Believers who involved in the cosmic system have no wall of fire and are often disciplined by God during historical disaster.
God uses historical disaster to discipline and often to remove carnal cosmic believers from the earth. Too many carnal cosmic believers form an anti-pivot so when there are too many carnal cosmic believers in the client nation the nation becomes self-destructive.
A nation will actually destroy itself were it not for the fact that every year God eliminates from the client nation a number of carnal cosmic believers.
Cosmic involvement produces social degeneration, economic disaster, and military defeat. This is what we see occurring in client nation USA at this time because we have too many carnal cosmic believers in our nation.
Lev 26:14-20; 'But if you do not obey Me and do not carry out all these commandments,
15 if, instead, you reject My statutes, and if your soul abhors My ordinances so as not to carry out all My commandments, and so break My covenant,
16 I, in turn, will do this to you: I will appoint over you a sudden terror, consumption and fever that will waste away the eyes and cause the soul to pine away; also, you will sow your seed uselessly, for your enemies will eat it up.
17'I will set My face against you so that you will be struck down before your enemies; and those who hate you will rule over you, and you will flee when no one is pursuing you.
18 'If also after these things you do not obey Me, then I will punish you seven times more for your sins.
19'I will also break down your pride of power; I will also make your sky like iron and your earth like bronze.
20'Your strength will be spent uselessly, for your land will not yield its produce and the trees of the land will not yield their fruit.
2Chron 7:13-14; 13 “If I shut up the heavens so that there is no rain, or if I command the locust to devour the land, or if I send pestilence among My people,
14 and My people who are called by My name humble themselves and pray and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, will forgive their sin and will heal their land.
In our study on the judgment seat of Christ based on Rev 2:11; we took up a study of the doctrine of death and last time we finished our study of the positional death of the believer.
This brings us to the next category of death that can be described as carnal cosmic death, where the believer is involved in satan's cosmic system in cosmic death because of their free volitional choice to live in carnal death where their soul is controlled by the OSN. Rom 8:6a; Rom 8:7-8;
This death is experiential because it is the product of the believer's volition where temptation is converted into sin by a free volitional choice to commit sin. Remember that sin is violation of God's law 1John 3:4; KJV and the wages of sin is death Rom 6:23;
In this case carnal death that apart from rebound results in cosmic death. Whether the believer knows that he is being tempted or not is not the issue. The issue is: Does he do it?
1Tim 5:6, The widow, who constantly indulges in wanton pleasure, has died while she is living.
Rev 3:1, I know your production, that you have a reputation that you're living, but you're dead (carnal death).
1John 3:14; We know that we have changed our residence from the realm of death to (the Christian way of) life because we love the brethren. When anyone does not love the brethren, he resides in the sphere of death.
Wanting to do a wrong thing is not sin, it is temptation. Sin does not occur until you actually execute the wrong thing you want to do. Sin is the result of a free volitional choice to disobey God.
Heb 4:15; tells us that Jesus was tempted just as we are but He never pulled the volitional trigger to actually do it He always resisted it with God's power. James 4:7; This is how Jesus maintained His experiential perfection.
Whether a sin is from ignorance or cognizance the person who did it is responsible and culpable because they mad the decision to do it. The decision to sin automatically places the believer inside of satan's e cosmic system, physically alive but dead per James 1:15; and an enemy of God per James 4:4;
Carnal death leads to the next category of death that is the production of dead works in satan's cosmic system. This category combines the arrogance of Christian service in satan's cosmic one system that left unchecked by rebound results in the function of the evil of human good in satan's cosmic two system.
God regards Christian production that is performed while functioning inside satan's cosmic system as being dead works. These are good deeds that are done in a wrong way or for the wrong reason.
This is called "dead works" in Heb 6:1, "Therefore, having graduated from basic [elementary] doctrine about Christ, let us advance toward maturity, not laying again the foundation of repentance [changing our mind] about dead works."
Prolonged carnality produces the dead works of Christian activism.
Prov 14:12; 16:25, "There is a way [a lifestyle of activism] that seems right to a person, but its end is the way of death [carnal death]."
Carnal death is being out of fellowship with God. Carnal death is found in Rom 8:6; Eph 5:14;James 1:15; 1Tim 5:6; Rev 3:1, "I know your production. You have a reputation that you are living, but you are dead [prolonged carnality]."
Prolonged carnality is perpetual control of the soul by the sin nature without the recovery function of rebound.
Christian activism includes vigilantism that is the function of individuals or groups who try to execute justice by punishing criminals outside of the criminal justice system.
It is the function of paramilitary organizations, that are absolutely wrong. Except for hostage situations private armies never win freedom because private armies serve their owner's interests.
It is the function of social engineering, trying to change the world to fulfill the concept of self-justification from bitterness. It attacks both property and life.
It is the function of socialism, like utopian socialism, that puts all of the wealth in the hands of the government.
