In our word-by-word study of Romans last time we concluded Rom 1:27; where we see the consequences of rejecting God's call to God consciousness and salvation.
Rom 1:25; Expanded Translation: "They (reversionist unbelievers) who exchanged the doctrine of the God for a lie (gospel for false doctrine or evil), both worshipped and served the creature (satan) rather than the Creator (Jesus Christ), who is blessed forever. Amen.
Rom 1:26; Expanded Translation: "Because of this (exchange of doctrine for evil) the God delivered them over to passions of dishonor (sexual perversions of degeneracy): for even their females exchanged the normal function (of sex) for that which is contrary to or beyond nature or abnormal."
Rom 1:27; Expanded Translation: "But also in the same manner even the males (homosexuals), after they first abandoned the normal sexual function of the female, became inflamed with sexual desire in their lust toward each other (of the same category); accomplishing the perverted act, and receiving back payment in themselves the appropriate penalty for their perversion"
This brought us to some principles from this passage. When we left off last time we were noting the "creature because this passage describes a conflict of ideas between God and "the creature" that target the thinking of mankind.
Lucifer the son of the morning is the highest of all angelic creatures, the most beautiful creature, and the smartest creature that God ever created.
He is the ruler of all fallen angels. Matt 8:28; Matt 9:34; Matt 12:26; Luke 11:18,19. Isaiah 14:12-17; Ezekiel 28:11-19 describes in detail the beauty of this creature.
He is the super genius of all time but in his arrogance he said, "I will be the most high God" and his pride became the cause of his fall. He has three falls: Isaiah 14 gives the first fall. Ezekiel 28 gives a description of three falls and Revelation 12 & 20 round them all out.
There are also two advents of the super creature related to human history. First satan came to the garden, and he returns after his incarceration in the abyss at the end of the Millennium.
Both of his advents come after an extended period of perfect environment on the earth and in both cases he destroys that perfect environment.
This reveals that the creature is the central antagonist of the angelic conflict/ Hebrews 1 & 2; Gen 6; 1Pet 3:18-22; He has an organization and administrative genius. Eph 6:12;
Jesus calls him a murderer from the beginning. John 8:44;
He is the greatest pervert and criminal in history so he is the greatest antagonist to doctrine throughout all history. Matt 13:37-39;
He is the enemy of the royal family of God. Revelation 2:9, 13, 24. The creature is also the ruler of this present world. Luke 4:5-7; John 12:31; John 14:30; John16: 11; 2Cor 4:4; Ephesians 2:2.
His being the ruler of this world does not mean that he controls history. He can only control those in history who are in a status of reversionism, so it is reversionism in the nations that makes it possible for the evil policies of the super creature to influence history.
Jesus Christ controls history and therefore the creature has to have a strategy to get into history, and he has a strategy for that regarding the nations of the world. His strategy is comprised of conceit, deceit, propaganda and conspiracy. Rev 12:9; Rev 20:3, 8.
The creature is the chief opponent to the laws of divine establishment. He hates human freedom so he is completely amti- truth so he is anti-establishment, anti-Jesus Christ, and anti-doctrine.
His strategy for the unbelievers of this world runs the gamut of blindness of the soul, scar tissue of the soul, and reverse process reversionism. This is only possible because of the unbeliever's negative volition at God-consciousness and negative volition at gospel hearing.
Their rejection of God and His Word of truth sucks satan's lie into their soul.
The unbeliever who is maladjusted to God's justice through the status of reversionism is completely under the control of Satan. In addition to that, every born again believer who is negative toward doctrine is in a state of reversionism and under the same control of Satan, the ruler of this world.
The only difference is that the believer in reversionism cannot be demon possessed; believers can only become demon influenced. So the creature has strategy as far as the unbeliever is concerned. Luke 8:12; 2Cor 4:3-4; the strong delusion passage in 2Thes 2:7-10.
Satan also has strategy regarding believers who comprise God's the royal family. His basic strategy is the doctrine of reversionism and the doctrine of evil. But he also uses other methods in his antagonism.
What can believers who are positive to doctrine and advancing in the spiritual life expect from the creature? Most of the world is worshipping and serving the creature instead of worshipping and serving the Lord Jesus Christ.
This means that believers who do not serve the creature can expect accusation, slander, maligning, and judging. The more innocent the believer is the more satan's minions will pile on with lies and deceit. Zech 3:1,2; Rev 12:9,10. John 5:18-22;
Satan tries to get believers to react with arrogance skills instead of using faith rest to wait on Jesus with spiritual skills.
When believers fall for this tactic they become their own worst enemy. This is what happened to Moses and it also what satan is doing to former president Trump and his supporters in the USA at this time.
The believer's job in satan's world is to testify regarding God's veracity by simply standing their ground in truth, waiting, and staying focused on their job which is to testify regarding God's veracity by standing their ground and waiting some more. Eph 6:10-18;
Prayer and the Gospel are the believer's primary offensive weapons.
