In our verse by verse study of Romans we are in Romans 1:32;

The expanded translation up to where we stopped last time is:"Such are those who although they have total perception of the legal requirements of the God's justice, (that those who practice such things..."

The next English word is "worthy of" that is translated from the predicate nominative masculine plural from the adjective "axios" that means deserving of or worthy of; "death" the descriptive genitive singular of the Greek word "thanatos."

The person described is aware of his status quo in spiritual death, but this refers to physical death or the sin unto death that is the maximum execution of the God's justice in time that is directed toward any category of reversionism by believer or unbeliever.

In this case it is the sin unto death of the unbeliever that is in view. Translation: "are deserving of death."

"not only do the same" - the strong negative "ou" plus the adjective in the neuter from "monos" used as an adverb limiting the action or state to that designated by the verb plus the present active indicative of "poieo" translated "do."

This is a customary present that denotes what habitually occurs as a result of their maladjustment to the God's justice. The active voice refers to those who have total cognizance of the gospel and reject it who produce the action of the verb.

The indicative mood is declarative representing the verbal action from the viewpoint of historical and actual reality, "not only do."

"the same" is the accusative plural direct object of the intensive pronoun "autos" that emphasizes the identity of the unbeliever reversionist who because he has rejected Jesus Christ as savior has entered into heathenism or unbeliever reversionism. It means "the same things" here.

"but have pleasure in those that do them" - begins with an adversative conjunction of contrast, "alla" translated "but." With the adjunctive use of "kai," translated "also."

Then the present active indicative from the compound verb "syneudokeo" (syn = together with; eudokeo = to think well, to approve) connoting hearty approval, and hence to approve with another is to be in accord with a principle, or to agree with.

We translate it, "but also give hearty approval." The present tense is a perfective present that denotes the continuation of existing results.

It refers to hearty approval given to those practicing the same evil things, hearty approval demonstrated in past history but emphasized as a present reality for this type of activity.

The active voice: reversionistic unbelievers maladjusted to the God's justice add their opinion as an encouragement to others to do likewise.

Principle: How much are you influenced by public opinion that is comprised of the vacillating public lie? God's opinion is immutable truth from Bible doctrine.

"practice them" is from the articular present active participle of "prasso." Again it means "to those who practice" the evil deeds of heathenism, and we have the present tense as a retroactive progressive present. The active voice: people are approving what other reversionists are doing.

Expanded Translation: Rom 1:32; "Such are those who although they have total perception of the legal requirements of the God's justice, (that those who practice such things are deserving of death) not only are doing the same things, but also give their hearty approval to those who practice the same evil deeds of heathenism."

Some principles that come from this verse include: While religion is without doctrine, the unbeliever is without excuse so there is no excuse for the heathen, the reversionistic unbeliever.

Reversionistic unbelievers have rejected the God and His Gospel from a position of complete and total cognizance. The reversionistic unbeliever is totally cognizant of the God's justice and the propitiatory work of Christ on the cross.

The God's justice has judged our sins on the cross. 2 Cor 5:21; 1Pet. 2:24; Instant adjustment to the God's justice at salvation is as simple as Ephesians 2:8,9; Acts 16:31;

Rejection of Jesus Christ as savior is instant maladjustment to the God's justice. One of the blessings of instant adjustment to the God's justice at salvation is to have a permanent relationship with God. On the other hand, to refuse the God's justice is the worst thing that can happen to any human being.

The God's justice may bless or discipline the believer but the God's justice never abandons any believer but the reversionistic unbeliever is a situation where the God's justice leaves unbelievers with no hope apart from repentance from unbelief in Jesus Christ.

There is a sign for the unbeliever at the entrance into reversionistic heathenism:" Abandon all hope, those who enter here."

This sign is based on the principle that the only source of help, the only ray of hope is to obey the God, comply with His justice and believe in Jesus Christ.

This is the end of our verse-by-verse study of Romans chapter one. Our expanded translation goes as follows.
Rom 1; 1 "Paul, a slave of Christ Jesus, called an apostle, through having been appointed because of the Gospel from God."

Rom 1:2; Which (This Gospel) He (God) promised in advance through His prophets in the holy Scriptures or writings"

Rom 1:3; Concerning His (God's) Son who was born from the seed of David according to the flesh.

Rom 1:4; "Who was marked out or selected by the divine decree the Son of God by means of power, according to the Holy Spirit, by means of resurrection from deaths of Jesus Christ the Lord."

Rom 1:5: "Through whom (the resurrected Christ) we have received grace and apostleship, for the purpose of obedience to doctrine among all nations, for the sake of his personal reputation."

Rom 1:6; "Among whom also you are privileged royalty (kletos) of Jesus Christ."

Rom 1:7: "To all who are in Rome, dearly loved by God, called holy privileged royalty: grace and prosperity to you from God our Father, and from our Lord Jesus Christ."

Rom 1:8; "First, I thank my God through Jesus Christ for all of you (Romans), because your faith (doctrine) is celebrated throughout the entire world."

Rom 1:9; "For God is my witness whom I serve with my spirit in the Gospel of his son that without ceasing I am caused to remember you."

Rom 1:10; "Always in my prayers when offering a petition, that if somehow now at last I will succeed by the will of God in coming face to face with you all."

Rom 1:11; "For I am longing to see you, that I may share with you something of importance from my spiritual gift, with the result that you might be stabilized."

Rom 1:12; "that is to receive encouragement together with you through each other's doctrine both yours and mine.

Rom 1:13 "Moreover I do not wish you to be ignorant, brethren, as frequently I intended to come face to face with you, (but was prevented until now), that I might have some production among you, just as also among other Gentiles."

Rom 1:14; "I am under obligation both to the civilized and the uncivilized (unbelievers); both to the wise (mature believer) and the ignorant reversionistic believer."

Rom 1:15; "So, I am eager to proclaim the good doctrine, also to you; those who are in Rome."

Rom 1:16; "For I am not ashamed of the gospel: for it is the capacity and ability of God for providing salvation to anyone who believes in Jesus Christ; both to the Jew foremost, and also to the Greek (Gentile.)"

Rom 1:17; "For by the same gospel the justice of (belonging to) God is revealed from faith (adjustment at salvation) to doctrine (maturity adjustment after salvation): as it stands written, but the righteous (the vindicated ones aka believers advancing to maturity adjustment to God's justice) shall live by means of doctrine."

Rom 1:18; "For righteous anger from God's justice is being revealed from heaven against all ungodliness (heathenism) and anti-justice (salvation maladjustment to God's justice) of those who suppress the truth (the Gospel) through anti-justice (salvation maladjustment to God's justice)."

Rom 1:19; "Because what is known about God is revealed in them (God consciousness); for the God has revealed himself to them."

Rom 1:20; "For since the creation of the world his invisible attributes (essence) are clearly perceived, being understood through the things which he has created, namely both his omnipotence (eternal power) and his divine nature (essence of deity): so that they (the entire human race) are without excuse before the God's justice."

Rom 1:21; "Because, when they knew the God, they did not honor Christ as God, nor did they feel obligated to thank him; in fact, as a result of their negative volition they received worthless thoughts in their evil thinking, and their ignorant right lobe received darkness."

Rom 1:22; "Although they claimed to be wise, they became fools."

Rom 1:23; "And they exchanged the glory (essence) of the incorruptible God for an image in the form of corruptible mankind, and birds, and quadrupeds, and reptiles."

Rom 1:24: "Therefore THE God (God's justice department) delivered them over in the lusts of their hearts to immoral status, that their bodies might be degraded among themselves."

Rom 1:25; "They (reversionist unbelievers) who exchanged the doctrine of the God for a lie (gospel for false doctrine or evil), both worshipped and served the creature (satan) rather than the Creator (Jesus Christ), who is blessed forever. Amen.

Rom 1:26; "Because of this (exchange of doctrine for evil) the God delivered them over to passions of dishonor (sexual perversions of degeneracy): for even their females exchanged the normal function (of sex) for that which is contrary to or beyond nature or abnormal."

Rom 1:27; "But also in the same manner even the males (homosexuals), after they first abandoned the normal sexual function of the female, became inflamed with sexual desire in their lust toward each other (of the same category); accomplishing the perverted act, and receiving back payment in themselves the appropriate penalty for their perversion"

Rom 1:28; "And since with full knowledge (epignosis at gospel hearing), they rejected having the God after careful examination, the God delivered them over to a depraved mind, to do improper evil."

Rom 1:29; "Being fully influenced by all categories of anti-justice, by a state of evil, by inordinate desire, by function of evil; full of envy, full of murder, full of dissention (strife or discord), full of treachery, full of evil craftiness; they have become whisperers."

Rom 1:30: "Backbiters, God-haters, insolent, arrogant, boasters, conjurers of evil, disobedient to parents."

Rom 1:31; "Ignorant ones, untrustworthy, unloving, unmerciful."

Rom 1:32; "Such are those who although they have total perception of the legal requirements of the God's justice, (that those who practice such things are deserving of death) not only are doing the same things, but also give their hearty approval to those who practice the same evil deeds of heathenism."
