Bible Doctrine in the Believer's soul creates the Integrity that is necessary for Reciprocal Love

In our continuing study of the doctrine of reciprocal love, we have seen that reciprocal love expresses the mutual love relationship between God and the Church Age believer under the ministry of God the Holy Spirit whereby the believer responds to the perfect love of God with Bible Doctrine under the mentorship of God the Holy Spirit.

We left off from our study with the principle that the human love of the believer that has been established in the integrity of Bible doctrine responds with love to the divine love that is the integrity of God, reaching its peak in occupation with Christ.

True love is always the result of integrity responding to integrity. God has always had integrity; the believer develops integrity from metabolized Bible Doctrine.

Because of his perfect integrity God has a perfect sense of responsibility. God has always taken responsibility for every member of the human race.

Even though God foreknew human failure, and the sinfulness and evil that would result from spiritual death, He did not cancel or diminish His love for the human race; instead he made provision for it through the person and work of TLJC.

Because God's love is immutable and eternal, it's content and capacity always remains the same. Therefore, God does not begin to love, increase in love, or decrease in love. His love is the same, yesterday, today, and forever. Heb 13:8;

Divine love cannot be bribed by good deeds or patronized by any form of legalism or human merit. This means that the works of the believer in Christian service must be the result of the spiritual life rather than the believer trying to get something from God.

God's love is never disappointed, frustrated, or distracted. God's love is not sustained by overt human attractiveness, human rapport or human works. God's love cannot be purchased with good behavior.

God's love for the believer is never turned into any form of antagonism because of our sins and failures.

God loves His own righteousness, which is eternal divine self-esteem, He imputes it to the believer at salvation, and personally loves the believer because of it.

While God does not have motivation, believer's have the potential for motivation from the transfer of Bible doctrine from the written page of the Scripture into the memory center of their soul where it is available for application to the exigencies of life.

Motivation in the soul is the result of Bible doctrine in the stream of consciousness. Emotion is not the source of motivation nor is it a criterion for the spiritual life.

David discovered reciprocal love. He is the only person in Scripture that is described as a man after God's own heart, 1 Sam 13:14; Acts 13:22. He worshipped God through the integrity of God. He was motivated by the love of God and even though David failed, it did not diminish God's love for him.

This connection between reciprocal love and integrity is found in Psa 89:14; "Righteousness and justice are the foundation of Your throne; unfailing love and doctrine go before You."

David worships God through the integrity of God. God's unfailing love is the love that motivates us. All Divine blessing comes from compatibility with the integrity of God.

David understood and used rebound after he sinned, Psa 32:5; "I acknowledged my sin to You, and my wrongdoing I did not hide. I said I will confess my transgressions to the Lord, then You forgave the guilt of my sin."

God's punishment is for the purpose of focusing us on dealing with our failures by using his grace. The love of God always punishes in a way that is beneficial. Punishment from God is the best punishment we will ever receive in life. We should be thankful for divine punishment no matter how much it hurts.

Anytime God punishes us, the justice of God is doing it through the love of God and his policy of grace and the pain is for the purpose of our ultimate blessing. Heb 12:11; Righteousness, the principle of integrity is the objective.

Psa 33:4-5; "For the word of the Lord is righteousness and all His work is in faithfulness. He loves righteousness and justice; The earth is full of the unfailing love of the Lord."

When you love something that is right, you will do it. Human motivation begins when the word of God is a part of the soul and this results in reciprocity. Divine love is the integrity of God and has certain characteristics like righteousness, justice, and his policy of grace.

All true love has righteousness. There is no true love in unrighteousness.

2Cor 13:14; "The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, the love of the Father, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with all of you."

Psa 23:3-6; "He restores my soul (rebound); He guides me in the wagon tracks of righteousness (the righteousness of the integrity of God); He rescues me because of His integrity. In addition to this, when I walk through a death-shadowed valley, I fear no evil, because You are with me. In the meantime my cup is overflowing. Emphatically, prosperity and unfailing love shall pursue me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever."

There is no fear of life and no fear of death; there is nothing but blessing for those who advance in reciprocal love for God. Even dying comes from the integrity of God. The timing of God is perfect and the timing of everyone's death is perfect.

Every believer has a death-shadowed valley and it is nothing to fear, because it is given to us by the integrity of God. The integrity of God is never more gracious than when we are dying.
