Good decisions made from a position of strength enable the believer to reside in Christ

In our continuing study of the spiritual life of the Church Age last time we concluded with the principle that the spiritual freedom that comes from the filling of the Holy Spirit is not is not from any human power. We are not free to do anything that we want to do. We are free to learn Bible doctrine through the filling of the Holy Spirit.

This system and the freedom to execute the supernatural plan that depends entirely on divine power is unique to the dispensation of the Hypostatic Union and the Church Age.

Walking by means of the Spirit means to consistently function under the mentorship of God the Holy Spirit inside the divine dynasphere.

Gal 5:22-23; "But the production of the Spirit is virtue-love, happiness, capacity for prosperity (peace), patience, integrity, generosity, faithfulness, humility, self-discipline; against such things there is no law."

Gal 5:25-26; "If we live by the Spirit, let us advance by means of the Spirit. Let us not become conceited, challenging each other, being jealous of each other."

Jealousy is a manifestation of arrogance. It is a part of inordinate ambition and inordinate competition. As an emotional sin, its resentment of others is irrational because it fails to recognize God's plan and provision.

Jealousy is directed toward self as the subject and toward people as the object. It is a major stumbling block in the attainment of spiritual self-esteem. Wherever it exists it is destructive.

Jealousy is a major function of self-righteous arrogance, and therefore, a major factor in the motivation of Christian moral degeneracy.

Since it is a sin, jealousy and the filling of the Holy Spirit are mutually exclusive.

Jealousy motivates legalism. Jealousy is tyranny in its simplest form. Where jealousy persists, it destroys human freedom. Jealousy does not permit people to love from the freedom of their own volition because it demands love and attention.

James 4:5-6; "Or do you presume that the Scripture speaks in vain against jealousy. The Spirit who permanently indwells us pursues us with love. And He gives us more grace. Therefore, it says, `God makes war against the arrogant, but He give grace to the humble.'"

1John 2:27; "And as for you, the anointing (the enabling power of the Spirit inside the divine dynasphere) which you have received from Him resides in you (via the indwelling of the Spirit in the body), and you do not need that anyone be teaching you (making you understand), but as His anointing keeps teaching you (or making you understand) all things as it (the enabling power of the Spirit) has taught you. Keep residing in it (the divine dynasphere)."

A synonym for the Holy Spirit indwelling the divine dynasphere is "anointing." This is how we, as members of the royal family, fulfill God's plan in his power not our plan, energy, or ability, but in the ability and enabling power of the Holy Spirit.

The gift of pastor-teacher is for the communication of the mystery doctrine of the Church Age. Col 1:27; But no matter how persuasive or powerful the pastor's message, there is no way it will be understood unless the believer is filled with the Spirit inside the divine dynasphere. 1Cor 2:14-16;

Believers are commanded to keep residing in the divine dynasphere because it is the place of the filling of the Spirit. The Holy Spirit does not control the believer unless the believer is inside the divine dynasphere.

1John 3:3-9; "And everyone who keeps having this absolute confidence (or hope) in Him purifies himself just as the unique Person (the humanity of Christ inside the divine dynasphere) is pure.

v4 Every believer who commits sin also does lawlessness; in fact, sin is lawlessness.

v5 Indeed you know that He (Lord Jesus Christ) was revealed in order that He might carry our sins; in fact, sin is not in Him.

v6 When anyone resides in him (Jesus Christ), is not sinning. When anyone sins, he has not seen Him nor come to know Him.

v7 My dear children, let no one deceive you; when anyone performs righteousness, he is honorable (virtuous), just as He (Christ) is honorable (virtuous).

1John 3:8; When anyone commits sin, he has become the agent of the devil because the devil sinned from the beginning. For this reason, the Son of God was revealed that He might void the works of the devil.

v9 At the moment when anyone is born from God, he is not sinning because his seed (enabling power of the Spirit which begins at the moment of regeneration) keeps residing in it (the divine dynasphere). Furthermore, he is not able to sin because he has been born from God."

The believer with momentum inside the divine dynasphere has hope or confidence in God. He purifies himself because he is persisting in the operational type divine dynasphere through self examination. 2Cor 13:5-6;

The decision to sin occurs outside of the divine dynasphere and is the choice to reject the enabling power of God the Holy Spirit in an attempt to solve problems in energy of the OSN.

Personal sin is how the believer enters the cosmic system with its OSN control of the soul and leaves the divine dynasphere where God the Holy Spirit controls the soul.

The decision to sin therefore puts the believer into the lawlessness of Satan's cosmic system.

The phrase "When anyone sins, he has not seen Him" in 1John 3:6; means there is no motivational virtue based in personal love for God.

Remember the only motivation for the spiritual life is Faith, Hope and Love. `1Cor 13:13; Faith is the thinking of Christ, Hope is absolute confidence in Christ's thinking and Love is occupation with Christ.
