God's timing in our study of the book of Esther and the providence of God

In our study of Esther and the providence of God, we have seen that a major factor in God's promotion is timing so we will now take a look at the doctrine of timing in the Christian life. A good scripture to describe this is Gal 4:4; Net note 7

Timing is defined as the selection of the best time or the rate of speed for doing something in order to achieve the desired effect with maximum results. This means that timing is very important in the believer's life.

For the Church Age believer, timing is a matter of synchronization with the protocol plan of God for the Church. Timing for the believer is therefore very different than timing for the unbeliever because from the moment we believe in Jesus Christ and are born again as members of the Royal Family of God we must learn about the protocol plan of God and how to use it for maximum impact.

Good timing is a function of the use of the problem solving devices of the protocol plan of God: Rebound, the faith-rest drill, the filling of the Holy Spirit, grace orientation, doctrinal orientation, personal love for God, impersonal love for all mankind, sharing the happiness of God, a personal sense of destiny, and occupation with Christ that result in a viewpoint of faith, hope and love.

Bad timing is a function of the emotion and the arrogance skills of self-deception, self-absorption and self-justification that result in a viewpoint of fear, worry and anxiety.

Timing is a part of the virtue that is developed from function in the protocol plan of God. This is because good decisions from a position of strength on a consistent basis enable the believer to be in synchronization with God's plan, purpose, and will for his life that results in the believer developing momentum from consistently functioning God's directive will.

Bad decisions from a position of weakness cause the believer to be out of sync with the protocol plan of God for the Church Age which means that the believer is functioning in God's permissive will and being hindered by bad decisions.

Bad decisions from a position of weakness will keep the believer out of proper timing in the Christian life, such that he never catches on to the purpose of life with the result that he becomes a loser during his time on this earth in the devil's world.

We all make bad decisions, but with the protocol plan of God, you not only learn how to deal with the bad decisions but you also learn how to more consistently make good decisions from a position of strength.

Every time we make a decision that is contrary the mechanics of the protocol plan of God for the church because it is contrary to a principle that is revealed from a dispensationally correct understanding of the Word of God we get out of sync with God's plan and His timing.

This means that good timing requires accurate handling of the Word of God. 2Tim 2:15; Net note 28

Once a believer is out of sync with God's plan, apart from rebound, there is no timing that will work. There is no such thing as good luck, and no way to have a happy life. There can be no tranquility or happiness when the believer out of sync with God's plan. Every detail of life and every decision in life requires proper timing. This includes being in the right place at the right time for the right reason.

When incompetent people are promoted, timing becomes a problem because although they are in the right place at the right time they are there for the wrong reason and they are not qualified for the production that goes with the promotion.

This means that they will damage their lives and the lives of others by their lack of capacity. Better qualified people are sometimes passed over simply because they were not in the right place at the right time.

In God's plan for the believer the right place is to be "in fellowship" and the right time is always. A major component of bad timing for believers is being out of fellowship.

Being out of fellowship results in reacting in emotion, being out of the will of God, having the wrong priorities, making the wrong decisions, and all of this occurs because the believer is ignorant of or not using the unique plan of God for Church Age believers. 2Tim 1:7; Net note 10

Bad timing therefore results in lost opportunity under the equal privilege and equal opportunity of God's plan.

What often passes for luck or good fortune is merely a matter of proper timing in life. Human timing may be related to luck, but God's timing is related to doctrine. Heb 11:1; God's plan for the believer never involves luck. God's plan involves humility. 1Pet 5:6;

Indifference, apathy, rejection, or antagonism toward Bible doctrine causes the believer to be out of sync with the protocol plan of God. You cannot synchronize with God's plan, will, and purpose for your life and be in a state of ignorance of the mystery doctrine of the Church Age. Col 1:27;

God is perfect; therefore, only God's timing is perfect. Any timing other than God's timing creates unintended problems. Because God's timing is perfect, it's the only timing that will work for the believer. To get into synchronization with God's plan, purpose, and will for your life requires mastering and understanding how Bible doctrine works.

Believers are imperfect. Therefore, the timing of the believer is imperfect unless he is in the directive will of God. Outside the directive will of God, the timing of the believer is related to his flaws, failures, successes, and distractions of arrogance. This means that functioning in proper timing becomes a very serious problem for anyone who is not consistently positive toward accurately taught Bible doctrine.

It is really very simple to understand the causes of good and bad timing.

Bad timing is the result of arrogance in life. Bad timing is manifested by the various functions of the arrogance complex of sins. Jealousy is a sin but also bad timing; implacability is the basis for many sins and is bad timing; self- pity is an emotional sin and bad timing.

To the extent that you feel sorry for yourself, you are out of sync with the plan of God. So anything related to the arrogance complex of sins that becomes a source of motivation in your life always results in bad timing. Inordinate ambition and inordinate competition are always a matter of bad timing.

Good timing is always based on the humility, objectivity, and teachability that comes from consistent perception, metabolization, and application of accurately handled doctrine.
