John 8:32; Gal 5:1; The doctrine of freedom part 11

In our study of the doctrine of freedom. John 8:32: Gal 5:1; We have noted that positive volition to any aspect of God's Word of truth creates freedom because God imputes grace through the divine decree to bless positive volition and discipline negative volition. Lam 3:21-23; James 4:6;

We noted that Positive volition to divine establishment provides for temporal human freedom, positive volition toward the Gospel creates spiritual freedom and positive volition to Bible Doctrine creates experiential spiritual freedom and spiritual advance.

Since truth is the sine que non of freedom and since morality and virtue are the visible printout of truth in the soul we have taken a side trip into a study of the doctrines of morality and virtue.

We are about to conclude our study of the doctrine of virtue where last time we noted that the visible manifests the invisible. Functional virtue is the manifestation of the invisible life and the invisible motivating virtues that come from operating under the ministry of God the Holy Spirit in God's power system.

We also noted that possessing happiness depends on virtue, not health, power, sex, or approval from people.

Equality is not a virtue. Man was designed for freedom not equality. Apart from the equal privilege and equal opportunity of election and predestination that God provides for every Church Age believer at salvation there is no equality.

Wherever and whenever there is an attempt to demand or force equality freedom, our purpose for being, is destroyed.

We see that destruction occurring when we watch the news and see that the freedom destroying criminal brown shirts are out in force rioting in our nation's cities suppressing free speech and destroying private property.

Authority and virtue exists in teaching Bible doctrine so people can make their own unforced freewill decisions. Choosing to learn doctrine is virtuous.

Improving one's worth is objective reality in God's power system, but the attempt to prove one's worth is subjective reality in satan's cosmic system.

Virtue is the visible manifestation of invisible power of God's power system. Arrogance is the visible manifestation of invisible power of satan's cosmic system.

Arrogance derives power from glorifying and romanticizing self. Virtue derives power from glorifying the Lord Jesus Christ.

Visible personality is not an accurate indication of invisible character because visible personality can be presented from the power of humble virtue or the power of arrogant evil. 2Cor 11:14-15;

Confidence toward God is a virtue that is acquired through the perception of God's Word inside God's power system. Confidence toward man is normal but without virtue. When confidence toward man is successful it is because of virtue.

Worship of God is a virtue that comes from living in God's power system. Worship of any created thing including man is an abnormal function of religion in satan's cosmic system. Rom 1:25;

Virtue toward God is motivational. Virtue toward man is functional. Decisions without virtue are destructive to life. This is why men who are normally moral but have no virtue make immoral decisions when under pressure.

The entire human race is designed for slavery, which means every person is functioning in God's power system as a slave to God or functioning in satan's cosmic system as a slave to satan.

If one rejects the doctrine contained in God's Word it is impossible to serve God so the rejection of any facet of God's Word by default results in serving satan.

Failure to judge yourself by acknowledging any known sin guarantees the loss of virtue because it automatically results in function in satan's cosmic system.

Whether or not they know or believe it the choices that each person makes each and every day determines whether they are a slave to God or satan. Because of this many who think they are serving God are actually are unintentionally serving satan. John 16:1-3;

Serving God results in self-control, virtue, freedom and happiness serving satan results in libertine dissolution, tyranny and unhappiness.

Joshua made his choice for God. Josh 24:15; "As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord."

Joshua made his choice for freedom because he chose to serve God. The choice we make determines our freedom. Gal 5:1;

Concluding principles:
Without motivational virtue toward God in the form of personal love, confidence, and worship, the believer reacts to injustice and unfair treatment.

The believer who is not occupied with Christ forgets God reacts to unfair circumstances which left unchecked results in anger and bitterness.

Those who are occupied with Christ remember that God will work all things together for good the ultimate good in their life and cast their cares on Christ. 1Pet 5:7;

This means that reaction and bitterness are a waste of time. When believers react to unfair circumstances their response to God is zero because their emotional sin causes OSN control of the soul. Psa 66:18;

Reaction manufactures preoccupation with self and arrogance. That means being divorced from reality, and having no wisdom, no common sense, and no discernment.

Arrogance from distraction from reaction inevitably leads to some form of do-gooder crusader arrogance that can become criminality.

Virtue is the visible manifestation of the invisible, It is when metabolized doctrine and the power of the Holy Spirit motivate common sense and resistance to provocation. James 1:19-22;

Happiness depends on virtue manufactured inside the divine dynasphere in fulfilling the protocol plan of God. Happiness does not depend on fame, success, prosperity, power, sex or approval.

Arrogance is the visible manifestation of Satan's invisible cosmic system. Virtue is the monopoly of God. Therefore, it can only be manufactured inside God's power system.

This brings us back to where we left off in our central thread in our study of the doctrine of freedom.

We have noted that freedom comes from truth in its various categories. John 8:32; Establishment truth creates freedom in the national entity.

The two enemies of freedom in the national entity are criminality and criminal nations. Criminality is the internal enemy to freedom. Law enforcement is the part of Divine establishment that is designed to apprehend and punish criminals.

Under the scriptural view of the law once a person is convicted of a crime they have no rights under the law until they have served their sentence.

God's Word authorizes punishment including capital punishment as an effective means of controlling criminality. Gen 9:5-6; Matt 26:52; Rom 13:3-4;Exod 21:12; Num 35:30; This brings us to a study of criminality as an enemy of freedom under the doctrine of criminality.
