Lam 3:21 -25; I recall this (doctrine) to my mind, and it gives me confidence. Because The Lord's mercy never fails; His grace provisions never cease, they are renewed every morning; Great is Your faithfulness... Therefore I have hope in Him. The Lord is good to those who wait silently on Him.

In our study of the doctrine of the winner believer. Heb 12:2; Rev 2:7; We have noted that winner believers are the unknown, unsung heroes of history. 2Cor 6:9; who are the targets of God's grace imputations and the reason that God continues to support the human race.

We are now in a segment where we are discussing the doctrine of church age spirituality. When we stopped last time we were noting the various functions of the ministry of the Holy Spirit. Gal 5:22-23;

Under the function of happiness (joy) we have noted that God, Jesus Christ, and God's Word of truth are the only source of contentment and happiness and those who reject them will never ever ever be happy. Rom 1:18-32; Isa 59:8; Psa 14:1; John 14:6; John 17:17; Prov 29:18;

Capacity for life is the only source of true happiness. Capacity for life and happiness depends entirely on the filling of the Holy Spirit and cognition of God's Word of truth. Gal 5:22; Luke 11:28;

The word translated "blessed" in the NASB is the Greek word "makarios" that means " permanent intrinsic happiness." It refers to a happiness that independent of circumstances because it is established exclusively from God's immutable Word of truth that never fails.

This permanent happiness has nothing to do with pleasant circumstances or emotion it is the product of virtue and capacity that is based on thinking God's Word of truth under the mentor ministry of God the Holy Spirit.

God provides capacity for life and happiness at each stage of spiritual advance and growth through the filling of the Spirit and metabolized doctrine in the believer's thinking.

Advance in God's protocol plan creates virtue that combined with the filling ministry of God the Holy Spirit balances the capacity for life have with what you possess in life.

Capacity for life increases with spiritual growth because of the increased focus on the giver rather than the gifts. Capacity for life is the synergy of the filling ministry of God the Spirit combined with Gods Word of truth that has been metabolized into epignosis doctrine in the stream of consciousness.

Life is filled with alternative choices. Under the principle of you can do nothing against the truth but only for the truth, good decisions enhance future options, bad decisions limit future options.

These alternatives include the choice for eternal salvation by accepting God's grace provision and believing in Jesus Christ or the alternative choice for eternal condemnation by rejecting God's grace provision and persisting in unbelief. John 3:18, 36; Rev 20:15;

The choice to make God's Word of truth your highest priority in life or the alternative choice reject God's Word of truth and live your life in arrogant self indulgence.

The arrogance of ignorance is the believer's biggest problem because too often believers assume that they know something about God that they really don't.

There is the choice to get under the ministry of a pastor who teaches God's Word of truth systematically and acquire the spiritual skills including the filling of the Spirit, the cognition of doctrine, and the execution of God's protocol plan that glorifies of God or the alternative choice to live a life of arrogance and ignorance that results in confusion and unhappiness because of the rejection of God's grace and truth.

Believers who are members of God's new spiritual society are not designed to live without the ministry of God the Holy Spirit in synergy with God's Word of truth.

Believers have to learn that their life as a member of the new spiritual species "is Christ" and they have to learn just exactly what being "in Christ" means.

It means that the believer's new life is comprised of the filling ministry of God the Holy Spirit in synergy with the thinking of Christ that is God's Word of truth. Phil 1:21; Gal 2:20; NET

Another alternative is the choice to learn and use the problem solving devices that God provides in His protocol plan or to reject them and by default live a life of misery and unhappiness because of no virtue and no capacity for life.

And lastly, there is the choice to live well from capacity for life that results in dying well under dying grace or the alternative choice to live a life of fear, worry, anxiety, disillusionment, discontent, anger, bitterness, implacability and hate that results in dying discipline that terminates with the sin unto death.

Since the ministry of God the Holy Spirit is required for the believer's spiritual life to work believers must understand the difference between the indwelling and the filling ministry of God the Holy Spirit.

The indwelling of the Holy Spirit is the permanent function of the Holy Spirit inside the human body that permanently establishes the believer in their new identity as a member of God's new spiritual species.

The filling of the Spirit is a temporary function that is related to the volitional choices that are made in the human soul.

The purpose of the indwelling of the Holy Spirit is to provide a temple in the believer's body for the indwelling of Jesus Christ as the Shekinah Glory of God. This is taught in 1Cor 3:16; 1Cor 6:19-20; and 2Cor 6:16;

Jesus Christ resides in Church Age believer's bodies as the Shekinah Glory just like he resided the tabernacle in Israel. Exod 40:34;
