Heb 12:2; Rev 2:7; The doctrine of the winner part 73

Lam 3:21-25; I recall this (doctrine) to my mind, and it gives me confidence. Because The Lord's mercy never fails; His grace provisions never cease, they are renewed every morning; Great is Your faithfulness... Therefore I have hope in Him. The Lord is good to those who wait silently on Him.

In our study of the doctrine of the winner believer. Heb 12:2; Rev 2:7; Winner believers are the unknown, unsung heroes of history. 2Cor 6:9; who are the targets of God's grace imputations and the reason that God continues to support the human race.

We have been discussing the doctrine of church age spirituality that is based on the indwelling and filling ministries of God the Holy Spirit.

We noted that since God's plan of grace and human works are mutually exclusive when human power and divine power are mixed the result is legalism that becomes the basis of some system of fake spirituality.

The major reason for the decline in the client nation is that too many pastors are failing to teach the principles of true spirituality which leaves believers with nothing but fake spirituality as the basis for their spiritual life.

This places the client nation in at risk under the principle of as goes the believer so goes the client nation. When the believer fails the client nation fails.

When we stopped last time we were discussing fake spirituality by emotion. We noted that spirituality by emotionalism is fake because emotional response is not a criterion for or indication of the filling of God the Holy Spirit.

In some cases spirituality by emotion attempts to duplicate the temporary spiritual gifts of tongues, healing, and miracles that were operational during the pre-canon period of the Church Age.

In this case emotion is used as the basis for the fake spirituality of "speaking in tongues" or by the overt performance of "miracles" or "healings."

Being emotional or not being emotional has nothing to do with spirituality because spirituality is demonstrated by rational thought not by the expression of emotion.

Emotion by itself has no ability to think rationally. When emotion takes over, you lose your common sense, your vocabulary as a tool for mental function and therefore your ability to think. Emotion therefore is not an indicator of Christian experience.

Normal emotional is an appreciator of the values of the mentality from proper thinking. Phil 4:8-9; 1John 4:1-3; Net note 10 1Thes 5:21-22; Net

Abnormal emotion is emotional reaction to unrestrained evil thinking that results in mental attitude sinning that left unrestrained will lead to the production of verbal and overt sin.

When abnormal emotion controls the soul it over powers and blacks out rational thought from any metabolized Bible doctrine that may still be resident in the soul at which point rational thought is impossible.

We see this irrationality occurring in the thinking of many in our country today and the consequences for it will eventually be severe Divine discipline.
Rom 1:18- Rom 2:6; NET

Abnormal emotion builds a barrier in the soul that is comprised of the various categories of mental attitude and emotional sins that react with the emotion to revolt against the truth of God's Word in every category creating blackout of the soul that prevents the rational application of God's Word of truth under pressure.

The categories of emotional mental attitude sins include fear, anger, hatred, self-pity, guilt, jealousy and implacability. Just like all other sin, emotional sinning creates a malfunction of the personality that leads to irrationality and even insanity.

The sin of fear includes the sins of worry, anxiety and panic. The more things you surrender to fear, the more things you fear. The extent to which you surrender to fear, you increase the power of fear in your life. The more things that acquire the power of fear in your life, the more things you fear in life.

Fear is a sinful emotional reaction to real or imagined adversity that creates an inability to think under pressure. Courage is a rational response to adversity that enhances the ability to think under pressure.

Self-pity stuffs real or imagined injustices into the subconscious mind where they fester and eventually cause the person to become mentally unstable and react at the least provocation.

The emotional sin of hatred includes anger, vituperation, and implacability that lead to violence and murder.

The emotional sin of guilt causes people to become totally irrational because they are self-condemned by their emotional sins and guilt, instead of the rational norms and standards from God's Word circulating in their mentality.

People do many things in an attempt to assuage their guilt but everything they do is wrong because it is always based on wrong motivation. Guilt causes some unstable do-gooders to become self loathing because they think they deserve to be maltreated because they have had too many "advantages" in life.

We see this happening in our country today as a reaction to false accusations and misperceptions that create self induced guilt that is associated with having so called "white privilege" that we have noted is simply blessings by association from God that are directed toward those who have positive volition to His Word.

Remember the strong attempt to control the weak through fear and the weak attempt to control the strong through guilt. Both motivations are products of the OSN's trend to commit emotional sin.

The emotional sin of jealousy combines the arrogance complex of sins with the emotional complex of sins. Jealous people react with bitterness, vindictiveness, implacability, inordinate ambition and competition, revenge, and verbal sins.

Jealousy and envy are the product of irrational emotional arrogance that results in irrational resentment that leads to irrational envy and hatred.

Emotion is human power and motivation it is never connected to God's power or the legitimate function of the filling ministry of God the Holy Spirit in God's protocol plan for church age believers. This means that being emotional or ecstatic is not true spirituality and if it is considered to be spirituality it is fake.

In the Church Age there is no emotion connected to the filling ministry of God the Holy Spirit. Rom 16:17-18; 2Cor 6:11-12; We represent the absent Christ while we are behind enemy lines in the devil's world. We are constantly under assault by satan's propaganda and lies so there is no reason to be ecstatic. 1Pet 5:8-9;

Spirituality in the Old Testament was not related to the Holy Spirit. It was related to the function of the faith-rest drill. The entire chapter of Heb 11; describes this.

In the Millennium the believer who is filled with the Spirit appreciates Jesus Christ being present and ruling the world in perfect environment so they have a reason to be ecstatic. Joel 2:28-29; Isa 29:19; Isa 32:15; Isa 44:3; Ezek 39:29; Zech 12:10.

Since emotion is not spirituality the application of emotion adds nothing to the spiritual life and the application of nothing as though it was something is still nothing. This means that the application of emotion to life is nothing.

When you try to make something out of nothing you get nothing so when you try to make something out of emotion you get nothing.

The progressives in our country today are using emotion to try to make something out of nothing and they will fail because their entire agenda is based on nothing and all they are is liars.

Emotion is nothing but it often creates fake identity with the result that the emotional believer is distracted from the spiritual skills by their emotion. Without the spiritual skills everything is fake and there is no spiritual life and no advance in the Christian life.

Believers without normal self-esteem often seek some spiritual superiority in with a fake spirituality of emotionalism.

Peer pressure produces fear that is spawned from the lust patterns of inordinate ambition and inordinate competition. This fear is an emotional sin related to their self-identity problem. This self-identity problem becomes involved in power and approbation lust as a means of overcoming instability from peer pressure.

Peer pressure arrogance results in irrational self-deception that results in self-fragmentation through the combination of the sins of arrogance and emotion.

Fake emotional spirituality is empty, void and therefore futile and useless. Eph 4:17;

Emotional revolt of the soul hinders the post-salvation renovation of the thinking from learning God's Word of truth.

2Cor 6:11-12; You Corinthians, our mouth has been opened face to face with you, because our heart has been enlarged (with doctrine).

v12 You have not been hindered (in spiritual growth) by us, but you have been hindered by your emotions.

Fake spirituality by emotion is a distraction from the execution of the protocol plan of God for the Church. Rom 16:17-18; "Now I urge you, brethren, look out for those who cause dissensions and hindrances which are in opposition to the doctrine that you have learned. In fact, turn away from them.

v18 For such people are slaves not to our Lord Christ but to their own emotions; and by smooth and flattering speech they deceive the thinking of the naive."

Job 30:27; "My emotions are boiling, and I cannot relax; I am faced with days of affliction."

Lam 1:20; "See, Oh Lord, I am in distress; my emotions are in ferment; my thinking is disturbed, because I have been rebellious."

Fake spirituality by emotion makes a false god out of emotion. Phil 3:18-19; "For many walk, concerning whom I have communicated to you many times, and now continue communicating even though weeping, they are the enemies of the cross of Christ,

v19 whose destiny is destruction, whose god is their emotion, and whose fame is in their dishonor, who keep thinking about earthly things."
